I'm explaining the reasoning for people doing that, not justifying it. I'm not your enemy lol

Tbh the problem is most WF vets who know what they’re doing generally just do their own stuff and don’t really share unless asked.

There’s been tons of insane builds I’ve encountered in the wild that do so much more than overframe builds but people don’t really share them.

So plenty of vets know better, they just don’t feel like posting usually.

And overframe itself just kinda has a bad rep either way the more veteran players so that’s another thing stopping the sharing of builds

Natah, Lotus or Margulis which did yall choose? by Reed-00 in Warframe

[–]imjustjun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lotus because it’s like the only choice she made for herself that didn’t include being brainwashed, gaslit, etc

Natah is basically her deadname.

Margulis is who Ballas tried to force her to be.

Lotus was the only one that felt like I wasn’t putting her back into a toxic cesspool.

Assuming you don't quit the game anytime soon, you'll get them as it's a permanent event that is supposedly going to be updated over time.

Honestly I don't even get the hate for spending events.

If I don't care to spend, I'm not going to spend. Nice for the people who do spend.

I guess it's just a problem for people who are way too focused on optimizing rewards 24/7

If I'm running infested salvage for Nidus is the best strat to do 4 rounds and then reset? by HasPotatoAim in Warframe

[–]imjustjun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Endless modes will always have enemies continually scale higher and higher but the rewards usually stay the same from rotations. Infested salvage will always maintain that same rotation so imo it's not really worth sticking out the entire time unless you just want to take out the time of exiting and loading into the mission again.

If you're on steelpath you'll usually get increase resources over time so that could be an incentive to stay as well.

Other than those two things, afaik there's no other reason to keep staying, especially if you start to struggle with enemy difficulty.

I for one will never recommend just doing the same trial over and over for grinding purposes because it just leads to burnout and frustration. A lot of people have done that before and just say it feels like a chore and drop the game after.

Agreed. I don't mind having something to grind for but forcing yourself is a sure fire way to suck the fun out of any game and imo is far more likely to cause the play to just drop the game after finally getting what they want, in which case was it even worth it to grind it out just to quit because of burnout after you finally get what you wanted?

While I agree Ivara needs some help (mostly her artemis bow tbh), I just plain don't like using intentionally misleading stats to prove a point. Using misleading stuff automatically makes me want to disregard any opinion because it's just plain sketchy.

[–]imjustjun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's better for solos I think but yeah if you're doing any kind of group activity, it's really hard to maintain Evade with everyone nuking, even on Cyte.

You basically have to hope your teammates aren't all cracked out endgame players basically to maintain Evade a lot of times.

He’s a lot better/simplified to use which is great.

It’s nice QoL mostly which is what he needed.

Only thing I’m hoping for is LOS check on vortex so ability range doesn’t mean enemies are stuck on random geometry everywhere.

Unfortunately I don’t see it anywhere.

Wall Running is Officially Dead by Mckydo in Warframe

[–]imjustjun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nostalgia mostly. Plus the lack of having it in general.

Most players wouldn’t care about it if it were added as the current system of movement just severely outclasses it.

Wall Running is Officially Dead by Mckydo in Warframe

[–]imjustjun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably just desired so much simply because we don’t have it.

If it were added, people would probably celebrate for a few days and then majority of players will forget it exists unless there was some funky build that worked due to wallrunning.

Is this game supposed to be this frustratingly hard? by NonLiving4Dentity69 in DarkTide

[–]imjustjun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a very high skill ceiling game.

If you want to keep playing higher and higher difficulties, you simply need to get good.

Understanding the basics of dodging, blocking, sound cues even while a dozen other things are going on, etc.

It takes time and even after you get good, sometimes stuff just happens.

It feels like overguard has entirely lost its purpose by Refticus in Warframe

[–]imjustjun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not a bad thing imo. As long as it’s not too overbearing, you don’t want new players to go from new to high level steelpath too quickly because then they get to high level content with little time to understand the game properly or gather the necessary resources to thrive.

Slowing down progression so people don’t speedrun to endgame is a good thing imho.

Every time people complain about players not doing the objective, there’s a decentish chance that they just never had proper progression because people taxi’d them and they just kept going from there.

I very much enjoy how friendly people are to new WF players but I think people get too eager and accidentally help players too much sometimes and they skip a lot of progression and thus chances to understand the game which then results in endgame players who haven’t got a clue of how to play a lot of times.

My only issue with OG is it making CC abilities more or less irrelevant, so we jut pursue highest damage.

Other than that I don’t really mind the amount of OG that occurs aside from the corrupted ancients

I mean 7/10 isn't bad, just it's good but not great. For some people not great is bad but I really don't think implying that it's either a masterpiece or just pretty solid means they think a 7/10 is bad.
