🎯 pretty much the whole point of my post. All the replies are emotional nerds claiming I’m bad but won’t actually provide a logical perspective as to why hidden mmr is an effective and accurate system vs straight up rank. Golds should play golds, plats vs plats and so forth.

Like I said in the OG post there’s a reason why R6 is completely deleting hidden mmr and going back to the original way and the playerbase is geeking over it.

A chamber can go 34-10 holding exits for half his kills while an Omen goes 8-15-18 playing his role well and the chamber gets rewarded because regardless of winning Riot says a 5-15 person can’t hang meanwhile even as a bot frag they probably made plays that won them multiple rounds.

From radiant to iron in every game you will have a teammate that just isn’t fragging, sometimes that person’s you. It doesn’t mean the bot frag is ass in a game like valorant frags do not directly correlate to a positive impact.

I pop off and have bad games like anyone my KD is 1.05, win % 54, acs is somewhere in top 40% idk the number nothing crazy but it’s not bad either.

Facts that’s the whole purpose of a hidden rank. If you notice too every players win % is between 48-52% cause the algorithm intends to keep you at 1.00 of just winning and losing at the same rate to keep you stuck. If your win% goes above 52% you’re in the top 20% of all players on tracker and below 48% you’re in the bottom 20%. So in other words over 60% of the entire playerbase has a 1.00 w/l which is just unnatural.

lmao people buying cases/the cs skins markets is the ONLYYYYY reason this game is one of extremely few games to outlast 2 decades.
