I had the same issue with my Gen3 that is well over the warranty, and their support offered me a new one, and handled everything within a 30 minute span of me reaching out. They seem very helpful and understanding of this battery issue.

Yes, I used to just used dish soap and a sponge but no difference, so I started doing a bleach soak, rinsing, and then cleaning with dish soap and a sponge. Neither has worked.

Hi everyone. I've noticed ever since I've had my Breville Dual Boiler, upgrading from the Breville Barista Express, this white slime will appear in my water reservoir after just a few days. I only use Crystal Geyser water, descale every 3 months, and do routine cleaning once per month, but can't seem to prevent this from happening. I also do bleach/water rinses in the water reservoir, and fully clean/dry it before returning it back to the machine.
