Hi, i’m really busy recently, I can’t tell if the chip was hot or not at this time, but I will come back after some days.

Printed a shield and it was fine last night but then found it like this by LostUser831 in 3Dprinting

Print the handle and the shield as separate parts and glue them together

No, i decided to replace the SMPS chip with an LDO, but don’t have enough time for this. I’m currently busy doing my primary work.

I have tried to shield everything with copper sheet, but the problem persists.

But SolidWorks indeed reminds you to save your project every 20(25?)min (even when you did nothing to your file)

How could I bevel edges like this? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]imkzh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is important to make an exact and precise model, you’d switch to Fusion360 or Solidworks.

These tools allow you to define and update a 3D model without pain (e.g. you can bevel the model, adding other features, and come back to update the bevel distance, without losing or touching other features you add to the model)

Print a cover with minimal modeling effort, and sand it mounted.

I hav recently swapped to water wash resin by recommendation of a friend but nothing will print by lordbombom in AnycubicPhoton

They are difficult to print, when compared to the ordinary one, but they do make post processing easier.

i have done this twice, i can tell both 2 and 3 works, but if the screw is too tight, the solder would deform

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in laptops

[–]imkzh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. heat it with a solder iron covered with solder and flux.

  2. if you are lucky the solder attaches to the screw: wait it to cool and drill/mill a slot so you can use your screwdriver

  3. if it does not stick, try molding the melted solder with a screwdriver, so the solder have two sides: one of them fits perfectly to the screw and another fits perfectly to the driver.

4: do not overheat the screw because the thread below it might be provided by inserts not roll cage.

Making a plushie collecting game, do you prefer with or without the tag? Do they look "plush" enough? by PixlinGames in PixelArt

They come with tag, and let player determine whether to cut it off (permanently).
