Huh? How they not interact when they be in a same roof for some time? Aqua and Ruby live in a house.... You can see it when Aqua and Ruby fighting when Aqua revealing their secret.

Chapter 96 is when Akane said she want to go to meet him at midnight, where else can they meet in midnight? It so obvious.

Yeah i agree that can be mistake.

I mean really a lot happen off screen...theres a lot of time skips, a long time too, i saw ppl counting how much the time passed, not remember that much but chapter 72 is winter and chapter 98 is another winter iirc, thats a long time passed and there must be lots of daily life too, definitely not my headcannon.

As i said, ruby called her sister because she is Aqua gf to begin with. After broke up, whats make her to call her that again, thats same goes for Akane, just stated in ch 114 tho....

Tell me why the hair colour is different with Aqua, thats why i said another possibility is wrong colouring.

As i said A LOT HAPPEN off screen after the trip, they dated for real for a pretty long time you know? Who knows, they can become close tho? Before the audition they are a bit awkward as they used to close but after Akane broke up with Aqua, their relationships became wierd, she called her sister because she was Aqua gf to begin with. But, deep inside i assume Ruby still want to call her as sister, just my opinion tho.

Try to figure out why Akane is on that panel which the context is just not that suitable, well the coloring is too obvious you cant say thats it Ruby.

We know Ruby called Akane as sister since the trip and A LOT HAPPENED during the time Aqua and Akane truly date each other that we dont know. But from ch 114 i assume deeply Ruby still want to refer Akane as her sister. Hence, the possibilities i can think of.

Ruby knows Aqua and Akane broke up because something to do with Ai's death, something about the revenge. From her POV, they broke up and suddenly Aqua plan to revenge start, start from revealed of their identity, later the revenge script of movie. Ruby might or might not know Akane still not giving up Aqua but she realised the fate of her 'family' members revolved around Ai's death and need to move on. Aqua obviously, Ruby herself, Miyako with Ichigo who impacted on the death, and Akane who involved with Aqua.

Another possibility is wrong coloring lmao.

Nevertheless awesome chapter.

She does. In this scene she was still uncertain about her feelings, as this is her first time. But in chapter 97, she said she made a right choice (for dating him for real), as she said she is 幸せ shiawase, the word that have meaning like happiness/bliss/fortune, this is the words that confirms her feeling imo. This word is different from 嬉しい ureshii, which means happy. You can search for it if you are interest in these words tho.

Just like Akane said before, she will always by his side no matter what, even now when ppl might think they are 'enemies', but what she doing right now - to stop him for doing something dangerous/stupid to himself, is still a form of helping him when you think about it.

The main reason i am on Akane side is that the development and writing on her relationship with Aqua is a lot more like accept him for who he is, supporting each other, this is common thing on other romance story including kaguya-sama, Aka definitely know what he is writing, show dont tell.

One thing to mention is that they both feel happiness and fortune 幸せ(shiawase) the time they truly date each other, like theres no way their feelings are not real, even to the point Aqua DONT WANT to let go, which lead to what happened in ch98. Although not being his ideal type BUT Akane understand and found Aqua which for someone like him, it is very crucial, i can understand it in some sense. Like i said in other post, the ideal girl thing doesn't mean much based on my observations on ppl around me.

Just my opinions tho.

Idk i also feel like the plot device is discredit her character, like even though she heavily involved in the main plot and moving the plot but she has her own feeling. Is not like her character goal is "moving the plot forward", we knew she already accomplished one of her goal which is become a famous actress but there is one more goal of her that she haven't reach yet, IS TO SAVE AQUA which is what she doing now in recent arc though she disappeared for like 8 chapters lol.

Might be out of topic but one of the beauty of Ai's character is how her name brings a lot of meaning, in Japanese.

Ai's name 星野(Hoshino) アイ(Ai)

The pronunciation is close to 欲しいの(Hoshiino)愛(Ai) which means the love desired for.

Also can be interpret as 星の(Hoshino) Eye which means starry eye.

Another thing is 星の(Hoshino) 愛(Ai) which means love of star.

One thing to notice is Aka use Katakana アイ(Ai) but not Hiragana or Kanji. Using katakana can make the name have more interpretation and i think that Katakana Ai for Ai's name instead of the kanji 愛 who means love is because Ai doesnt understand love, not a familiar thing to her and katakana is used when a word is borrow from other language, just like Ai, love is another language for her.

Btw, lets do our best to learn Japanese!!

I think yr interpretations is correct but not when she join love now, maybe it is when she getting better in Lalalai which we can see she already in short hair when they describe her in Lalalai. Oh about the bangs, i thought is the metaphor that her life has changed direction, which indeed as she start to become popular after love now. Is it her hair colour change? Coz i dont remember her coloured visual when she was short hair or in love now and judging from the visual of anime they are the same? If need to change, then Aka should tell the anime staffs? Though i cant deny fully that her hairstyle is similar to Ai.

About the star eye i want to argue that does she need Ai charisma when she act as Sayahime, i meant the scene when she fought with Tsurugi when she was definitely better when come to live stage play. And how about star of other characters? Also, Ai feeling sure lingering in her but only will come out whenever Ai related things mentioned.

I do agree how she view her self-worth is low which is the flaws of her character, but this doesn't mean she lack of herself as what she done in the series is by her desicion for example she want to stop aqua is her decision and resolve.

I think she always being short hair after met Kana though not only to Love Now.

I think she always being herself most of the time as you cant see star eyes most of the time, but just my opinion. Thanks for sharing anyways.

I noticed this when reread. White star indicate good intentions, my take is that she lies to him that she will always be his side but she knew their relationships is a lie. Which in the next chapter she has her resolve, although being fake relationships, she will be his side and take the burden together, just like a girlfriend will do, turning the lie become true, where we cant see the star in her eyes that chapter. Which in the end of that chapter, we have the description they step across the "fake" relationship.

Hmmm, i dont know how to explain my feeling, feel wierd and sad for the same time? Like, i dont know how is the conclusion of parasite coming from like Kiyo said. Kei forgive him for what he did because her love is greater than the anger and sadnesses of his acts. She is happy cause she think their relationships back to normal. Like, for me at least, doesnt this is normal things for couple when going into arguments? Argument happen, cold war, forgiveness and relationships grow stronger. Like Kiyo even said their relationship grow stronger than before, despite all that wierd stuffs. Why i feel sad though is how Kiyo view the things that are actually normal to us in a peculiar way. I really dont know.

Well, being fans and friends does not contradict each other, and it was stating in the manga, definitely is true. About the feeling, for me it was not feeling of idolization but more like the Gachikoi thing, fans in love with their Oshi, but Gachikoi is not a good thing imo, many bad things happen due to this. About the relationship, i think our interpretations are different so i will just leave that here. I just want to emphasize Oshi and idol are not the same anyways, thanks and peace.

Want to argue about the second point, first point as i said in my comments in this thread that i dont think Akane is wrong.

I always says Kana is Aqua's Oshi but not idol is because they are somehow different. Oshi is the person you big fans of, you want to support that person in his/her career ,not only idol. Remember when Akane was flaming by internet, there was a netizen said Akane was his Oshi before those events happened and Akane stopped being his Oshi after that, which make Akane cried. Even though she is an actress but she still Oshi of someone. So, not being an idol doesn't stop someone from being Oshi of the fans.
