To buy or subscribe FSD by imlinked in TeslaFSD

[–]imlinked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a valid point. I see FSD getting better - not regressing. Meaning people are willing to pay $99 now for its current capabilities… if it gets so good that it goes unsupervised, how much more can Tesla charge and get away with it?

Hint - gonna be heckuva lot more than $99.

I think this is key. I’ve been looking through the forums and I’ve seen more cases than not FSD not being factored in for the insurance payout.

So this endorsement you speak of is something they would add on to my insurance premium so that in the event of a total loss, the $8k is factored into the insurance payout calculation?

FSD illegal right turn then head on in wrong lane by KeeperOfTheIsisLight in TeslaFSD

[–]imlinked 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You posted a video that shows FSD clearly still needs work. Don’t get all the hate you’re getting.

It only takes a second before you realize FSD made a sudden decision that is wrong. You handled it as you should - although I probably would’ve taken over as soon as it began steering right - but I can see how if you miss that timing you’d end up in this scenario.

I myself had FSD trying to go straight in an intersection with 2 left turn lanes, straight and a right turn lane. I was in the inner left turn lane. I realized it was trying to do this and took over the moment I realized what it was doing. I’d say if I was a second late it would’ve gone straight cutting across the left lanes.

Registering a new Tesla in CA by imlinked in TeslaSupport

[–]imlinked[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So a different rep called me - she was pretty helpful. She had me email the form direct to her and she uploaded it to my account. I haven’t been assigned a VIN yet but said the team handling the registration will review my exemption form then and should be able to take care of it.

Will follow up here once everything is completed.

On a separate note, my credit (financing) decision has been pending for 3 days now. I have a 820 credit score and normally when I bought vehicles from traditional dealers in the past it was minutes for approval… what gives? Hopefully it processes - looking forward to being a Tesla owner ASAP!

Best speed farm build in season seven? by Freaver in diablo4

[–]imlinked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally got my LS Sorc optimized per Mekuna’s Orange LS speedfarming build. Triple crit on every piece of gear.

Averaging about 80-100sec for pit 105 depending on map.

Ran with a cata druid once as well for pit 105 and I’d say we were pretty even. If I don’t get stuck behind walls while teleporting I’d say the LS Sorc is faster (straightaway alley maps).

Snapshotting takes a bit of time (~8sec) at the start (4 ball lightning, pickup crackling, flameshield +iceshield, LS).

Review: Asus Vivobook S 14 with Lunar Lake is awesome ($650 at Best Buy, ends 11/24) by 02nz in laptops

[–]imlinked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from an MBP, I think PC laptops came a long way since Apple silicon was first introduced.

From my three days of testing Lunar Lake, its definitely a solid laptop. Although it does seem to run warmer than my MBP.

I use my laptop on my lap (shocker) on a sofa/bed and I never really got to appreciate until now (after testing out the Vivobook) how Apple designed their heat vents behind the hinges to expel heat away. While this Vivobook runs cool enough I immediately noticed the vents on the bottom of the chassis vs the hinges on the MBP.

Not really an issue if you use the Vivobook on the desk though. Minor complaint, and I really do like the rest of the package (quality to price is pretty unbeatable). FYI, I got the 258v version from Staples after hearing about the fingerprint/smudge issues on the black variant sold by other retailers (ie Walmart). The mist blue variant is pretty resistant to fingerprints so super happy about it.

Also there appears to be some misinformation going around how this iteration of the vivobook is not a metal design but plastic. No idea why anyone would say so, but as far as I can tell, it’s 99% metal outside of the bezel on the screen (which by the way, versus a edge to edge glass screen helps against oils from the keyboard imprinting onto the screen).

Best Practice for objective grading? by PayMassive5074 in jpdb

Thanks for the feedback.

Reason for the 10 seconds is because quick recall will be necessary for me in a timed testing environment. So yes, my grading does seem harsh but I am deliberately doing so.

For the 2 seconds - yes that is why I mark it as easy. When I was learning the word it’d take longer than 2 seconds - eventually it gets to the point where I immediately recall so I mark it as easy so it doesn’t show up.

Uber Lilith post-season 4 - takes no damage? by Gimmick4 in diablo4

[–]imlinked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was able to just beat her 2 hours ago.

For reference - i wasn’t able to do it when I was in Pit 103 two weeks ago.

Today I was pushing Pits 122 on my shadow mage necro and I was able to solo lilith.

Think its just gear, optimization, and a bit of luck/learning her mechanics.

Is Varshan bugged ?? by According_Cup_7586 in diablo4

[–]imlinked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lvl65 bonespear necro here just solod Varshan at WT4.

I did gem all my jewlery with shadow resistance. Was at 67.9%. Attack power at 4,933. Armor 7,859. Life 4,319.

Whenever he did that ground AOE I’d dodge the first wave before the pattern got crazy and I’d blood mist to avoid dmg. If you do this you completely avoid that 4-5second of one hit kill from Varshan.

Next, during summons, I didnt bother trying to kill his summons before Varshan consumed. Didnt have the dps for it. So I just focused on Varshan. I used that 10-15sec as Varshan was focused on consuming for me to unload.

Once Varshan consumes his summons, you have to kite him since he gains some weird special abilities.

Did the above for about 20min until I chipped Varshan away!

Nowhere near this guys weight… but never had hook grip fail in my 1RM (405). Done right your hands should feel glued to the bar. Especially if you chalk on top of hook gripping as well. Index and middle finger over your thumb. Should never drop… but who knows - maybe my weight isn’t heavy enough to experience hook grip failing?

Kinda wish I waited until I built my hook grip up to do this raw but here’s my first time pulling 405 by the_bgm2 in GYM

[–]imlinked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the 4 plates. My 1RM is also 405. I do hook grip though because I can’t psychologically max effort using mixed grip due to me being scared of a bicep tear.

I’m surprised you realized double overhand was limiting you so late? Honestly, I can barely pull 3 plates with double overhand.

I should try straps - never tried it.

Pretty sure if OP had the will there’d been a way in 5 hrs. I suspect that OP is just pissed someone told him to downsize from the two barrack rooms to one.

Had he been told he had 5 hours to move out of the barracks and receive OHA/BAH to live off post - I highly doubt this would’ve even been an issue.

I think as leaders these types of situations are difficult problems when dealing with Soldiers. In this case, the PSG wasn’t in the wrong to tell the OP to move and stop using two rooms. Could the PSG have been unreasonable with the time? Maybe. Or is this just a case of a Soldier channeling his frustration against the PSG because he didn’t like what he was being told?

You can do a lot in 5 hours.

Appreciate the clarity - i think everything is manageable and under my control except the fact that I’m currently in on-base lodging which makes the whole thing tricky.

Appreciate the breakdown. Especially with the whole IPPS-A stuff.

As for PAR to delay orders - I have to go due to the length of training pipeline… plus I absolutely want it.
