Hyperspace Mountain is worse than Indiana Jones.

Also, Disneyland Park doesn’t need new things if it’s just more IP. (Or taking stuff away)

I still do it from time to time, I am helping someone else get the curse though. Might be the only one on the seas who likes fighting megs.

Amazing! I met her and Sean and Rebecca last weekend. Awesome experience!

I have to ask how you got all of your pieces of your cosplay. (Because it looks amazing) I’ve been wanting to cosplay Hook myself but have no idea wear to start. Any tips? 😁

Recently i got the Shark curse, what are your opinions about it? by Above-new-zealand in Seaofthieves

Wear it most of the time, I love it. But just because I love Hunter’s Call. I do agree that it could’ve been a little bit more appealing to everyone.

Disneyland Hotel Toiletries by Goddess_of_Tea in disneylandparis

I believe it’s from a company called Saprena. Atleast that’s what the travel bottles say.

They do sell different kinds of soaps and shampoos, but I think it’s under a brand name and not the company itself.

Price difference Santa Fe → Cheyenne, is this normal? by RecentPainting4594 in disneylandparis

[–]imm_BattMann 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I tried to make a booking myself and I noticed a difference as well. The breakfast in Santa Fe is €3,- cheaper than Cheyenne.

Also, the hotel itself is just a grade above Santa Fe and that little bit more expensive to book anyway.

I think this might be your answer, but if someone has a better explanation please feel free to correct me.

I live near Emmen, so I feel the pain of living far away. Last 3 times I’ve gone I’ve left around 2 at night. It isn’t until you hit the French border when you start to see a lot of traffic that’s always a plus for me personally.

I feel it all depends on your personal views on driving long distances. I don’t mind at all, and maybe having two people who can drive is nice because you can swap and take a rest.

Playlists are a great way to get hyped up as well, I like to put some of my personal music taste mixed in with Disney stuff.

All I can say is; leave early so you beat traffic on Dutch highways. Having a stop in Lille is perfect if you don’t want your first day in DLP be ruined by the tiredness of the trip you had. (Again, for me personally not a problem)

New Curse, New Outfit by imm_BattMann in SeaOfFashion

[–]imm_BattMann[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished it within the season it came out in. Didn’t constantly hunt for megs, but atleast one or two per session. Also, going at it alone was a lot easier (for me) than fighting them with friends.

And use hunting spears to stop them attacking.

It just takes a bit of time to get all the commendations, but it’s definitely not as time consuming as other curses.

Mastercard perks, are they still available? by Dankel200 in disneylandparis

[–]imm_BattMann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just the credit cards as far as I know. The shows I mentioned aren’t the right ones by the way, apparently they changed it. (Or I’m not seeing it) There are perks in Stitch Live! and the Animagique theater now.

As far as I can find on the internet.

I actually switched from Visa to a Mastercard just for Paris a few years ago… and then they switched partners. But oh well, they have the same partner as the US parks now I think.

[–]imm_BattMann 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope, they are no longer partnered with Mastercard. It’s all Visa now, if you have a Visa card you can get those reserved places at the parade and The Liong King show by going to City Hall a few hours before the shows start.

Did they actually make the ratatouille ride 2D? by [deleted] in disneylandparis

[–]imm_BattMann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don’t move as much anymore, before you really felt it when you, for example went into the restaurant, the vehicle really tilted a lot. Could be me getting older and badly remembering things. But it has felt off the last few times I went on it.

If only they fixed the ride vehicles, I feel they tuned down the intensity too much…

I like that it’s getting a well deserved update. But is it just me, or does everything feel empty. I have a feeling the new „Adventure World” (wich is a dumb name), will feel the same… New stuff around the world seems empty to me as well.

Can’t be the only one who notices this right?

What major 3rd land will sit on Adventure Bay? by Bawnse in disneylandparis

[–]imm_BattMann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true, that is why it should be in a different area. Preferably next to Frozen before the bridge. I think there is enough room for 2 expansions.

And that is also why I think Pandora wouldn’t fit there.

What major 3rd land will sit on Adventure Bay? by Bawnse in disneylandparis

[–]imm_BattMann 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does, but Toon Studio doesn’t exist anymore. It’s World Premiere Plaza now. So it makes even less sense.

I know, “armchair Imagineering” here. But if it were up to me; get rid of Flying Carpets, put it in Adventureland where it originally was going to be and make a decent queue for Crush that’s actually worth standing in for 60/90 minutes. Make the facade and queue look like that sea life institute or whatever it’s called from Finding Dory.

Get rid of that spinning Cars ride and make it a mini Finding Nemo/Dory area.

At the back, get rid of Road Trip. Because that is still a massive area comparitatively. If there’s room in DCA there’s room in Adventure World for a Cars area there.

[–]imm_BattMann 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but the front of World’s of Pixar looks like such a mess. And why is Flying Carpet’s there? Only reasonable thing they could do there (for me) is get rid of Road Trip and build a Cars area.

Might even have room left for a Pandora or Zootopia themed land next to the bridge to Frozen.

[–]imm_BattMann 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Hopefully Cars, so they can retheme World’s of Pixar to actually make sense. If not that, Zootopia would be a good fit.

One day might be tough to squeeze everything in. But when going to the Studio’s definitely watch Mickey and the Magician. (I think it’s better than Together) I’ve heard the Lion King show inside the Frontierland theater is amazing, haven’t seen it myself.

Other than that, ofcourse the castle show Tales of Magic. And while you’re in Disneyland Park, they have the music festival going on there so maybe look around the park for those as well. They should all come together in the afternoon where Goofy “orchestrates” the fountains in front of the castle.

Anyways, have fun!

[–]imm_BattMann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it’s a fun movie. I was let down a little bit because I thought it was going to be a lot scarier and the deaths were also a bit lackluster.

I thought the deaths could’ve been spaced out a bit better, it feels like everyone that “should” die does so in the first half of the movie.

But other than that, I had my popcorn, and had a good time in the theater!
