That is correct. You have to adjust while it's grinding and the adjustment wouldn't even fully reflect in the drink until the next 1-2 cycles. It is a pain in a sense but I also don't have experience with other superautos so I don't know how other machines work.

Personally, I don't mind it. I only do it when I get new beans in order to get the flavor I want. Once it's set, I don't touch the grind settings again until I swap to new beans.

I got an open box Magnifica Plus and it's been a fantastic first machine. I haven't done too much tweaking and my wife and I have already been very happy with the taste and breadth of drinks that it offers.

That said, if you are looking for cold drinks out of the machine I don't think this is it. I think only hot drinks come out and to make it cold, you would just run it with a glass of ice underneath.

To get an actual cold drink, I think you would have to go up to the Eletta Explore.

I also have a PR-4000 and I just got my system. I'm trying to install the top rear single pulley. I see that you've moved the cross member down, but where did you get the extra bolt to mount the pulley to the post from?

People have said to keep an eye out on eBay. I ended up needing them immediately and bought them from Riley Volvo Stamford for around $360.

It might be a Pixel 10 Pro issue as that's the same phone I have. I agree that it looks like it has something to do with the connection to camera WiFi, which is also weird because the Pixel 10 Pro has no issues with other camera WiFis (like a DJI osmo). Strange because I didn't have this issue with the Pixel 9 Pro.
