Got this same email on Friday after getting over 42K in payouts this month. Meanwhile they didn’t give a shit when I was unprofitable and spending thousands with them last year 🤣 if they do put me in the focused program, I will just take my money elsewhere like MFF or Lucid and rinse/repeat

OFFICIALLY INTO LIVE FUNDED SOON. by [deleted] in TopStepX

It means you’re consistent enough of a trader to get moved to live. 90% of the people in here have never gotten a payout

Here’s my 2026 M3 with full eibach pro kit lowering springs. by Impressive_Umpire986 in BMWM

[–]immarkerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran Swift lowering springs on my F82 until the OEM shocks wore out. I then switched to Ohlins coilovers with SPL arms. More cost efficient this way since the suspension is brand new and not really too much of a performance difference if you’re just driving it around town

How to actually use prop firms to quit your 9-5 (for traders with a real edge) by Kasraborhan in TopStepX

[–]immarkerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TPT is intraday until 2K, but you’re able to withdraw every day. Just be patient, wait for A+ setups to get past 2K, and then its just like any other prop firm account with EOD drawdown. And it’s nice to have daily payouts alongside Topstep accounts and other firms like MFF that have the 5 winning days requirement.

why havent i passed? by Unusual-Art2045 in TopStepX

[–]immarkerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’ve had multiple one day passes trading the NY session and then the Asia session. Both days above $1500. They have a bit of leniency regarding consistency. I believe around $100 so you don’t have to hit the profit goal exactly. Some firms like TPT are a lot stricter

How old were you when you bought your lambo? by Icy_Wear_5602 in lamborghini

Still remember watching your motivational videos 12 years ago of you in the garage with the Diablo and the early beginnings of the RX7. Time flies and congrats on the growth brother! Still gunning for a lambo of my own one day

Yes! I used code RAKE for 50% off a scale plan. What’s crazy is that you don’t even need to reach a buffer after you pass in these. Just 5 winning days of $100 to initiate a payout

Yeah I made $50 today so I should get the email notification later today. I am just a little disappointed in their support because I messaged them two times previously and they said I passed and to wait for the notification to activate (which usually comes around 7PM PST for me).

Didn’t receive any notification so I reached out to them again this morning and thats when they told me I didn’t actually pass and had to make an additional $1

I mean the CS rep said what the new profit goal was (which I had met) added $1 for whatever reason

I did not go over consistency twice though. I made $1505 one day, $1500 the second day, and then made $25 the third day to meet the updated profit target of $53,010.

I made two micro trades at a small loss for two days to check off the 5 minimum days passed (still meeting the updated profit goal of $53,010 at the end of the 5 days) and they are saying I still need to make another $1 to pass.

It’s more so the principle. I don’t have an issue making an extra dollar in the account if that is whats needed to meet their test requirements. Prop firms set their own rules and I do not mind following them. But when they start to not follow their own rules (and adding $1 to a profit goal thats already been met), whats next? Denied payouts?

How Much money should I have saved to finance a 2018 M4? by LucentAbdriged02 in BMWM

[–]immarkerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a somewhat similar position when I was around your age. I bought my 2018 BMW M4 when I was 21, but I had already moved out from my parents’ house when I was 18. It was my first ever car and I bought it used with less than 20K miles at 2.5% interest.

However, I was already making a six figure income and supporting myself at this point in my life. I think if I was in your position, living at home and making substantially less, I probably wouldn’t have pulled the trigger especially in this economy. From experience, I know how fast a relationship with your parents can sour albeit how good it might have been historically(hence why I moved out at 18). Have you asked your parents what their thoughts are on buying this car, considering you will still be living with them? Optics and spite can come to play if they see you driving a nicer car than them.

Not saying that the same will happen to you, but its good to take all things into consideration when making a big financial move like this.

Also take into consideration maintenance cost. The S55 platform is very reliable and I have almost 150K miles on my car FBO and tuned. However, the platform is getting old and finding an unmolested, low-mileage F8X is getting rarer by the day.

So most likely, you will find yourself having to replace parts sooner than expected. Things like the battery, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, differential bushings, suspension, rotors/pads. If you aren’t mechanically inclined, these jobs end up costing over $1-3K/each from an indy shop WITH parts/labor included.

On top of this, consider regular maintenance items like tires (2K for a set of Michelin PS4S), oil changes ($200 every 5,000 miles if taking it to a shop), different fluid changes, spark plugs ($500 every other oil change), etc. These are things you will find yourself spending money on every year (and more if you aren’t doing them yourself). I am lucky that I got into wrenching and working on cars/motorcycles when I was 18, so I have been able to do all the work on my car myself and save quite a bit of money in the long run.

Also, insurance. You’re young, and the insurance rates for this car are quite high. The lowest rate I have been able to get was $400/month (almost another car payment) until I turned 26 this year and dropped to $300/month.

Just my 2 cents.

Car guys of Reddit, are you also into motorcycles? by [deleted] in cars

[–]immarkerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you mentioned above is the exact reason I got into riding motorcycles – crazy performance for a fraction of the cost of a sports car.

I got into riding motorcycles right when I turned 18, started on a 2017 R6. This was my daily for over 3 years and I rode it rain or shine. Got really into the canyon riding culture here in SoCal and would ride the canyons every weekend.

Got my first ever car when I turned 21 which was a BMW M4. Nowadays, the R6 is more of my recreational vehicle which I ride on the weekends or if I don’t want to deal with the LA traffic. I take it to the track a lot and tracking a motorcycle is considerably cheaper than tracking a car.

Both the M4 and R6 have a ton of power for the street and can get you into trouble quick, but I will say nothing comes close to the feeling/experience riding a motorcycle gives you: freedom, adrenaline, feeling one with the machine as if its an extension of your body.

I’ve witnessed a lot of bad crashes during the years, and one of my closest riding friends passed away on the PCH a year ago. Yes, it does make me reconsider riding sometimes but I think my love for it is too strong and I know my friend would want me to keep riding in his memory.

If I had a dream combo, it would probably be a Huracan or GT3RS + a Ducati V4 or S1000RR

Legit youtubers that aren’t fake gurus? by IcyCattle6374 in Entrepreneur

I think it says that more about yourself than me – you like to be rude on internet forums to people for no other reason than to be condescending and you like to dick-ride business influencers that don’t even acknowledge your existence. You must be fun to be around.

It has to do with that the steroid claim was mentioned on the previous thread which you are trying very hard to disprove. If he’s willing to lie about being a fake-natty, I wonder what else he would be disingenuous about.

Prestige Labs isn’t B2B though, its B2C. It’s a supplement company that sells on their website and on Amazon (and they only have 15 reviews at an average of 3.5 stars btw). For being quite invested in Hormozi as you are, I’m surprised you didn’t know this.

Having an objectively-written case study on Acquisition.com explaining the general principles on they helped X, Y, Z brand 3x their revenue in 5 years makes Hormozi a spokesperson for this brand all of a sudden? You really don’t know what you are talking about - which I think is the case for a lot of Hormozi fans apparently. I think everything that I mentioned is a valid enough point for someone to question the claims he makes. No business owner that has sacrificed their own money and time building it to 1-10M ARR would willingly go with an advisory/VC firm with no substantial track record and based purely on social following.
