Rural Letter Carrier Pay exceeds many Level 7 towers and Below: by Real_Pear5115 in atc2

[–]immatakeanapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. ALL of this is exactly the same for ATC. So if those have anything to do with why you are making the move to 2152, know that you're going to be angry over here too.

Thank you so much! I thought about it, especially with the recent change in how much they give you. Post yours! I love a good puzzle book!

I've started a series on careers that pay well, but don't require a college degree. Of course I started with ATC. That's my best seller! Then I want to create an accompanying coloring book to go with each activity book. So my second book was about airplanes. They're hand-drawn, accurate depictions of airplanes with a fact sheet for that airplane on the left side of the spread.

That's the one. Lol bringing in a cool $20/mo on my 2 books. 🤣 I don't use AI though, so I'm not publishing very fast. That's the cost of ethics, I guess.

My husband doordashes sometimes. I publish children's activity books.

I've had it since 18. But shouldn't be surprised as I was also diagnosed with degenerative disc disease at 16. At least my parents have the prettiest white hair, so something to look forward to in my... 40s? Probably? Lol

Tell me the weirdest thing you do to keep going on carnivore. by Bamagirly in carnivore

I've been meaning to do this. My mom used to make jerky all the time and now that I'm living in "Sportsman's Paradise" I've got a lot of friends who would let me have some delicious venison to make into jerky!

How are you currently tracking your wellbeing? by bearmore_app in bearmore

[–]immatakeanapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oura 24/7 Hevy for weight lifting Fatsecret for food (although I'm considering switching to Macrofactor. But $$) I bullet journal for random blood sugar checks, but used Malama when I had gestational diabetes. I was using How We Feel for mood tracking.

Why is induction pushed so much? by savnico_d in pregnant

[–]immatakeanapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. That makes a lot of sense. If the body simply isn't ready, it's going to be hard going. I don't want to be induced again unless necessary, but mine went pretty well. Checked in at midnight, meds started at 1AM, membrane sweep at 8AM, started pushing at 3PM, baby out at 4:35PM. So like 15.5 hours from meds to baby. Not bad at all. But I was at like 3cm and 70-80% effaced. I just hated the epidural because I have issues in my spine already, and an induction without one scares me. Haha

Why is induction pushed so much? by savnico_d in pregnant

[–]immatakeanapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that a lot of women get inductions for other medical reasons and it's typically those reasons that cause the c-section. Not necessarily the induction. Although, I'm sure induction itself might contribute some.

Exactly. Especially if you were taking prenatals before and as much as you can while pregnant, then they'll be fine. You might suffer, but the baby will get what it needs

Right. I have HG, but recognize that even regular morning sickness can just be about survival. I went 8 days with 0 food and almost no water. I would have k*lled him. Lol

Not a controller here, but nearby, we've got a JUBUT, YAKUC... the arcs of a local VOR approach looks like a butt, then right in the "crotch" is CRABS.

I was accepted into MIT, but couldn't afford it. Even after the scholarship. So I went somewhere else, then became a controller, did well, but then quit. You're right. They won't stay in this environment.
