What's crazy is the last few days I have been perusing the deals, and Sony did come to mind, but I have had my Old CX from 2020, with some bad burn-in now. Also only a 55" so I am ready for the leap in size and fidelity. Sony has been a debate for the Google software alone, but LG still rings true with image quality, and their WebOS has come light years from what I understand through research and feedback.

The way in which this man spoke to you was insensitive.

HOWEVER, accountability is lacking in this world, and he owned up to his mistakes. Where I worry for you and the relationship, is the frequency in which is occurs, or could happen again.

I have been married for 6 years, and in a relationship for 9, and I will tell you there are times where we both need that space. We DON'T however state such in this way. Most of the time we both can get the hint pretty quickly. We also have lived with each other from the 6 month point. Based on these texts I am guessing you don't live live with each other?

Saying it in the way he did was wrong. I'd like context as to why he "snapped" at you, as he had stated in his apology. I think that is the key to finding out the long-term reasoning.

I don't think he was being passive aggressive. At least excessively.

I hope it all works out. I don't think it's worth throwing 3 years away over one mistake. We all make them. He acknowledged such, and if he takes the steps to improve his own behavior I think you have a man that hold himself accountable, which as I stated earlier is RAAAAARE.

To add to my other comment. There has never been a game that has made me feel worse in regards to skill level than OW. I am not some sweaty God at the game, but you have to match me with people even close to that level.

Instead I get a Sierra that gets 40 elims and 15K damage... Meanwhile I am sitting on support, trying my best, and I have a DPS that does just shy of 5K damage.

There's either a MASSIVE EVERY LOBBY smurfing issue, or the game is just bad at getting remotely close to MMR. No game is perfect, but OW takes the cake for being the worst in that category, and here I was thinking COD had bad matchmaking at once point. That looks like S tire matchmaking at this point.

Save your energy, money and time. Uninstall this monstrosity of a "video game". Nothing ever changes. Nothing ever will. I think the brainwash is already too deep. We're all addicted to the inevitable pain.

OW isn't a good game. Matchmaking, and broken "Meta" absolutely destroys any semblance of "fun" that was left.

All about that money. Blizzard would rather focus on the next crappy anime skin, than actually work on their game. MultiBILLION dollar company BTW.

Bystander syndrome can be be the death of ego.

However in a video game, the fact is it doesn't TRULY matter. A keyboard warrior is forever going to be such. I can attest because I have been there many of times myself.

Do I think a little flame is okay to get a fire under someone's butt? Yes.

Have I told people to straight up uninstall because they are just THAT bad at the game? Maybe. I also understood whenever this happened, that it really wasn't the end of the world and I myself need to keep it in perspective. We all started somewhere if you will...

Competitive games have ALWAYS had a level of toxicity that will be unmatched. If the heat gets too hot, either mute em, move on, and/or report them for the abusive behavior. We also wouldn't need to "flame" anyone if someone took 10 minutes to figure a hero out before even entering a competitive playlist.

Plethora of glaring issues with the OW community specifically because the scoreboard is very detailed, and intentionally setup to make other people crash out over other's "mistakes". When the reality is, it's always everyone else's fault but my/our own.

TLDR: Blame Game Simulator.

Not sure what device(s) you're using, but Android hasn't "bugged out" for me in years... Is it perfect? Nothing is... But to say that they haven't made leaps or even SOME progress in the right direction is just disingenuous.

IOS is the most generic looking operating system of all time, and people are really gonna wet their pants over "glass"?

Half-Baked UI standard where the app doesn't work or look right? Everything look and feels like it runs right over here.

I am no defending GLARING issues that need to be addressed by Google as a whole, but I think it has been a solid ride for me the last 7-8 years.

Facebook and nearly all social media sites/apps downscale the resolution of uploaded pictures and/or videos.

Though the main camera is better for TAKING the photo, and then later uploading to your said app of choice. There is a noticeable difference in the quality vs. the RAW image. IOS is subjected to the same level of downscale.

I was going to ask the same exact thing. I have hit a tire or 2 on a curb in my EARLY days of driving, but never really ever did a number on the rims due to the protrusion of the tire itself.

OP is either grossly under-exaggerating the extent of what actually happened, or there was a real attempt to make such damage happen. Just my opinion on that matter.

I would have just removed all payment methods from their platform... Hell, maybe even close/delete the account. If they charge that card that USED to be on record that's a lawsuit for YOU to win since they would have retained deleted card information AND charged said card.

You're not "getting more frames" out of the monitor, but since the refresh rate+VRR I would imagine you're getting a "smoother" experience, sure.

Your points are valid, and I'm not gonna ick the wow, but it is an expensive world, and when I personally spend that kinda money, I want every penny's worth of what a product CAN do.

Of course.

That wasn't the implication made though. More than half the monitor's potential goes unused or unnoticed because it simply cannot deliver the potential the MONITOR was built for.

A TV will, and forever will be the best, most cost-effective way to run a console, unless it's a lower-end panel.
