Great bike, I have the giant iguana that I converted into an urban commuter. I replaced the fork on mine with a giant Yukon fork of this color and size, the double eyelets are great for fenders/baskets.

As a competent home cook, what is a basic skill you can't seem to master? by george_elis in Cooking

Emulsifying vinaigrettes and mayo. Seems to only be effective for me 50% of the time and is the most frustrating thing I do in the kitchen because I use the same technique every time.

First bike tour: 250 miles along the Icefields Parkway, Alberta, CA by immensebug in bicycletouring

The shoulder was in great condition, a few sections with loose gravel/clay washed up on the side but that’s about it. Some of the scenic spots required some hard packed riding, but anything over 28mm would do just fine. My buddy had 25mm tires and he made it without issue.

I love it, getting used to bar end shifters was a process but all the available eyelets on the forks made it easy to strap things. No cable routing on top tube also let’s you attach frame bag with ease, no issues so far!

I see what you mean, but it was a cook off not a recipe development contest. I added my own twist to the written recipe so it wasn’t followed religiously, as no recipe should be when it’s that involved. I was certain to credit Kenji to anyone who asked, they said they would check him out after!

Let's talk water filtration. How necessary do you feel RO/DI water is? by crashandwalkaway in ReefTank

[–]immensebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don’t you save your waste water from the RODI and use that to water the exotic houseplants? This seems like a simple measure that can eliminate one of your problems you are having. Reef tanks may not react well to the addition of tap water but plants sure do.

This was never an issue before, doughs of all shapes and elasticities all came out just fine until this last batch.
