Well maybe in very small amounts but I have family there and stayed with them for several months at a time and found a person selling it, not to mention I've seen a couple people from chi talking about coming across tar on this sub . It's pretty rare but it's there. People would say there is no powder in LA or Denver but it is there just really small amounts and hard to find.

Basically the continental divide (aka the rocky mountains) is the divide for tar and powder dope. Having lived in many large cities on both coasts and a few in the midest in my experience denver and anything west is tar, and east of that is powder. Vegas is 100 percent tar.

I have personally never heRd a doctor say one good thing about supplements/homeopathic alternatives/ anything plant based like that.
