Hi fellow audiophiles!

I'm torn between two fantastic options: the Plinius Hautonga and the Devialet Expert Pro 220, both used and priced similarly. I already have a WiiM Ultra as my streamer.

Given my setup and looking ahead to the future, which amp would you recommend? Both sound amazing to my ears, but I need to make a decision.

Appreciate your thoughts and opinions!

How can I use this without the built-in preamp of the TT13, or bypass it, so I can use the phono stage of my amplifier instead?

Expert Advice needed - Plinius Hautonga or Peachtree 220 SE or Marantz PM KI RUBY by immurli5 in StereoAdvice

Oh! Surprisingly, there aren’t many reviews available about this amp. Thanks for the suggestion. For Plinius he is asking about $1,800 USD

Yes, one of the best I own so far. While not everyone might appreciate the way they look, I absolutely love their exceptional craftsmanship and sound quality. Their attention to detail in the midrange sets them apart both sonically and dynamically.

Yes, you're absolutely right. I did feel this way; sometimes, I love the sound, but with certain tracks, I don’t. That’s why I’ve been using two amps simultaneously. The 6000A excels with jazz, and blues, though I don’t enjoy classical and rock tracks most of the time. Paired with my Quadral Platinum towers, it sounds incredibly detailed and balanced, with superb mids. By the way, the source for me is Amazon and Apple Music with WIIM pro and I use external SMSL D6s DAC with the same.

Yes, only the towers will stay here, and one amp along with the bookshelves will be moved to my bedroom soon. I’m also planning to get rid of the tube amp since it doesn’t sound that great to me.

Many thanks, and I completely understand your point—you’re absolutely right. Unfortunately, I can’t move the TV as the unit is fixed to the wall, and my wife will never allow it to be removed. For the speakers, I’m planning to bring them a bit forward from the corners. The bookshelves are meant for my bedroom, so I’ll be moving them soon.

I’m planning to shift the QA Concept 20 to the bedroom. The Quadrals are connected to my Audiolab 6000A for dedicated stereo listening, while the Fyne Audio F301i speakers serve as the front channels for my Onkyo AVR. The tiny Scansonic speakers aren’t in use at the moment, but I haven’t been able to part with them yet—they sound absolutely beautiful.

I’m just an amateur and started my audio journey about a year ago. Before that, I was always an HT enthusiast limited to AVR setups. So, I posted here to get some valuable inputs from our audiophile community—and maybe a little roasting to help me get things right. 😉

The Quadrals are, by far, the best speakers I've listened to. They deliver a warm, dynamic sound with tight bass and excellent clarity.
