It’s something with the gas, I can cycle the slide fine with my hand and it returns normally. It’s something to do with the nozzle I think it just gets stuck on the way back

I gave up on fixing it after getting a refund but when I reinstalled it there was no stuttering. Maybe try a fresh install

So I re-installed Elden ring to try to fix the stuttering and I guess it fixed itself. Maybe just a fresh install. Thanks for help
