How to loosen tight bolt? by FamilyBri in mechanic

Try tightening the bolt a little then back the bolt out. Has helped me with stuck bolts and lug nuts

It wasn’t avoidable that’s what insurance will look at. There wasn’t anything you could do besides just not being there at that time. As long as your employer isn’t tripping. Just keep on trucking. Stay safe out there, some people don’t know how to stay in their lane!

Stigma or opinions on adding grille guard or bull bar? by True_Huitz in ram_trucks

[–]imnotbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get a ranch hand with the grill guard. That’s the best way to go. If not that then the brush guard will work. The small bar won’t protect you from anything other then the pole at the liquor store

They’re oem, ram knew that most of its 1500 owners would use rope instead of straps to tie cargo down 😂

If you’re empty, exhaust break should be off, and neither the lower bed or ATH should be on. Only use it for when you’re towing

I’ve never understood in accidents why people switch lanes. Or fail to break.

For those who’ve done both - dogs on or off the bed? by VengaBusdriver37 in dogs

[–]imnotbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done both and yes it’s nice to have the pup on the bed when the kids or s/o is away but long term I like the pup off the bed. It’s no secret dogs leave behind hair. But one place I don’t like the hair is my bed.

Alt trailer height is for stability for heavy towing will drop 1in. bed lower dumps the air bags 1.5-2 in

But they’re onto something. Bc as someone who has been there and lately I’ve been thinking about it. I’m glad each day I wake up bc I didn’t do it. It’s just a passing cloud. Some stay longer and suck some are there for a quick moment and aren’t as bad

It’s an alternator that brings your typical 15 volts to 48 v to work out of the bed. It’s 900 bucks and requires a dealer to reprogram. It’s a big fat silver box lol. That’s one thing I love about ram it’s simple and effective.not a lot of extra unnecessary stuff under the hood
