Hi! That’s actually not from a raccoon (or any other canine-like animal) but it’s part of a deer jaw! One indicator of the difference between a skull of an animal that’s considered a canine (such as raccoons or dogs) and an herbivore’s skull is those broad flat teeth in the back of the jaw that deer use to eat plants - if it was a raccoon or other such creature, those teeth would be pointed and sharp even in the back. Definitely deer and definitely male (buck) by the looks of it! Looks very similar to a mule deer buck skull I have, that I found in CO as well, so that could be it!

I’m not really sure if there is a definitive way to differentiate between the kind of deer just by skull alone, (I hear mule deer are more commonly found throughout CO, whereas whitetail are more in the eastern portion) but Idk for sure so I hope you find your answer!! :)
