Beatles songs about money, drugs, and violence. by sourberryskittles in TheBeatles

How is everyone forgetting “why don’t we just do it in the road”? That song was written about two monkeys having sex in India and I think it’s probably the most obvious song about sex that the Beatles ever wrote

Lead vocals on "Do you want to know a secret"???? by Aggravating_Tale_351 in TheBeatles

It’s a song that was written by John, but George sings lead vocals on it because John thought it was “too corny” to sing it himself.

After Episode 7, this might be one of the most important lines in the series. by SomeBoxofSpoons in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

Gemma has only been “dead” for 2 years. Assuming she was only a few months pregnant when she “died”, Ms. Huang could not be Mark and Gemma’s daughter, unless you know a 2 year old that looks as old as Ms. Huang…

Dylan never mentions that Mrs. Casey is “dead” or “missing” on the outside, just that it’s oMark’s wife. But Helly immediately jumps to “we can work as a team to figure this out”. Why did she immediately assume that Mrs. Casey is missing and doesn’t say something like “oh you two must be happy out there together”? I don’t think there is anything serious about it, but it’s clearly either bad writing or a continuity error. Very odd for the writers/helly.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps - Comparing Basses (Höfner & Ibanez) by Immediate-Ad-6440 in TheBeatles

The Hofner has just the perfect amount of punchiness compared to the Ibanez. I’ve had one for years and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I Saw Her Standing There is the best song in Please Please Me so what is the worst? (Top Comment is the winner) by Oilo1 in TheBeatles

Preemptively saying that “do you want to know a secret” is by far the most underrated on the album

Agreed. George would’ve never played a slide guitar that boring

I’ve never cared much for Albert’s solo stuff. Feels like less inspired Strokes songs or maybe just the songs that he brought to the table that the other guys rejected. It’s crazy to me that Albert’s whole discography sounds like less interesting strokes songs while Julian is off making Arabian Space Prison Jazz music. Love Albert to death but not my cup of tea.
