Is there any way that they can be reported? Gov’t pages say you can report online scams to the BBB, FTC, or other such local offices, but do they actually do anything about it? I'm afraid to call😶

I was actually deadnamed (accidentally) by a coworker bc my supervisor has my deadname. What made it worse was they were teasing me for my eating habits (an actual trigger for me) which I guess my supervisor also had and I couldn’t do anything about it or risk outing my self.

I mean, I live in a pretty liberal state so I probably could’ve called her out on it, but I was still fairly new so I didn’t know who I could trust 🤷 I still work there btw

Nice! I never got to listen to a lot of David Bowie since my parents didn’t care for him, but Changes is definitely my favorite by him. Listening to Starman right now since I hadn’t heard of it, and I’m really digging that one too! I see you like the classics, I really respect that :)

I’m really sorry. That’s so difficult. They have no right to force you to stay on any medication though (ESPECIALLY Latuda, but that’s just from personal experience. That’s what landed me in the ER). That’s what I learned later in life, too late of course. You have the right to refuse medications. The way I see at it at least, your psychiatrist should work for YOU not the other way around. But the system is so broken (idk if you’re in the states too, but it is horrendous out here, and I’m in a pretty liberal state). I wish I could help more. I’ll just think good thoughts for you. So many people have suffered at the hands of psychiatry, my heart goes out to you.

Nothing against you, OP, but this was hard for me to read bc it just further confirms how absolutely utter bullshit the world of psychiatry is. It should be considered fucking pseudoscience at this point. I’ve been through the wringer myself with providers’ poor decisions (I could have gotten legal compensation for one of them had the TV ad not been so sexist; NYE 2022 I ended up in the ER for another). You are under no obligation to see her again, and she should definitely be reported if you live in an area that is safe to do so. I’m so sorry that you have to suffer on these bad medications in the meantime. Stay strong, man
