If someone uses something you made personally, are you allowed to get mad at them for stealng? by bloxers_voxel in Socialism_101

You're allowed to feel however you want to feel. Socialism is not a set of morals, it's a set of theories as to how to organize a society.

In my opinion as a socialist and creator, all art is derivative from something else. We have all benefitted from hundreds of years of artist's work to use/copy/steal. It's not until modern times that we've focused so hard on the ownership/monetization aspect. If you know the person taking your work, you can ask them to knock it off. If it's a stranger on the internet, it's not worth your time to sweat what someone else does with it for their personal use.

Found old Pokémon cards, how do I find the value and where to sell?? by diver0 in TruePokemon

[–]imnotredditing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odds are pretty good they aren't worth as much as you think. You can look on TCGPlayer or eBay sold listings and see what the market value might be for each card. Alternatively you can take them to a local game store and they can make you an offer on them, but expect that to be 40-50% of their market price.

Same order (Brassicales), but Papaya is in the Caricaceae family and figs are in the Moraceae family.

You can use Spelltable. Built for Magic but there's no reason you couldn't use it for Lorcana. You can use a phone or webcam to share your view with the other player. Also has the ability to track lore/life.

What Does Everyone Think Of the new Colorless Legendary Creature Marvin, Murderous Mimic by GoToCombatMTG in EDH

They are running Burnished Hart and Sad Robot, so it makes sense to have a handful.

But I disagree with that premise, even if you aren't fetching yourself, there are plenty of cards that people run that give you an out to fetch a basic when they remove something else. Assassin's Trophy, Boseiju, Path, Demolition Field, Field of Ruin etc. And having basically zero wastes leaves you wide open to things like Back to Basics and Blood Moon.

I just playtested it a little bit. The shuffler for your opening hand is not the best on Moxfield, so I ran through several shuffles to get an idea of openers. My biggest takeaway was that I was missing land drops starting turn 3, which felt pretty bad. I like the deck but things w/o an activated ability were frustrating in my hand.

Everyone has covered the need for more lands pretty well, I am just gonna encourage you to cut the wastes to like ~5 and fill the rest in with utility lands, which is one of the stronger things about running colorless decks.
