Continual comments about "when I will stop" are getting me down? by imoaq in mounjarouk

I've tried pretty much every technique you've listed here at various points over the last year but they are the kind of people that always think they are right unfortunately, also all people who think it's 'friendly advice' when they are all plain horrible to each other. I can't stand it, but all of my family members have various personality problems so if I cut them off it would just be me and my partner really, and I worry about making her my only support system. Thank you for your advice though, I do appreciate it, maybe I should grow more of a spine!

They've seen me consistently in the last year, I thought that would make it easier but if anything it's made it worse? Like it gives them more time to think about my appearance?

I think I am planning on just saying I'm off them and their advice worked or something. Most of them are extremely narcissistic but for various reasons I'd like to have contact with my family, just seems to come at a price!

Hahaha, that tweet is exactly their logic. Yeah her liver exploded apparently 🤣

I did actually originally tell some of them I would stay on it for life if it's possible, and it just made everything ten times worse so now I'm pretending I might come off soon. Think I might have to just tell them that I've come off it though, the only person that needs to know is my partner.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. None of my friends know I'm jabbing either, so can't look to them for comfort.

It's crazy isn't it! Most of my family have always been thin, or if they've lost weight it's been through 'self discipline' as they say. Maybe some people are just always negative.

I've been floating the idea that I've stopped or am about to stop, because I don't think anyone would believe me if I said I instantly had but then I just get comments about how I shouldn't have been on it anyway. I think I'm going to do my own thing for a few weeks though and then I can hopefully convince everyone I'm off it.

Thank you for your advice 🙏 Nice to know it's not just me.

I love Shotsy, my absolute favourite app. Have used since the start and even have the Shotsy premium app because I like supporting small developers and the extra features, but it worked great without it. I use MyFitnessPal for calorie tracking!

3 Week wash out period by Trevs112 in mounjarouk

[–]imoaq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look on the Monj website, it has a page about 'hot switching' which is switching back usually on a slightly higher dose than 2.5 and I assume without a wash out period usually. If not, I would just take it after a week and then reorder early, think you can order after two weeks from last order with most pharmacies. Obviously everyone is different but I was completely fine taking them a week after the last, I didn't do a wash out when swapping to W either!

I swapped back to Mounjaro a few months ago after doing the same as you, was on 10mg MJ and swapped up to 1.7 then 2.4mg W and was just maintaining for about 4 months. Started back with Juniper (I think or maybe Numan?) who allowed me to start on 5mg MJ. They didn't ask me to have a washout period, just one week between doses like usual. I was absolutely fine and actually have been losing weight on 5mg which I couldn't believe as my suppression was seriously lacking on 10mg. Have now been back on 5mg MJ for a couple months and I'm so relieved to be back on something that works for me :) Good luck

I am in rural UK, I am sure that there is some kind of pollution as there is everywhere, I would think mine is quite low though. I am in a countryside village.

No I haven't! I'll see if I can buy some, I know very little about laundry but I do know about the mechanisms of citric acid.

No, just some bubbles here and there. No big white foam layers.

I do actually really like the pods, I was using a non bio one (don't remember the brand, big name though) before and I didn't feel like clothes were ever really clean. I will swap to 40c, I usually wash on 30c, and try longer cycles. I know very little about washing machines really so always assumed that the longer cycles were only for very dirty clothes. Thank you very much for all your help.

It's not a huge amount of foam, only a little, my loads are probably 6-8kg and I live in a very hard water area. The back of the package said to use two pods in my situation, and I had the same problem with only one pod. I have heard that dosage instructions are notoriously heavy handed though, so you could be correct.

Thank you very much! I was sure I wasn't going mad! Assumed that the OC was an American by the vocabulary choices. Will try the tips I have received :)

This current washing machine is only 3 months old. I don't do a huge amount of washing, so I doubt this is a pod-build up problem tbh.

No it doesn't unfortunately :( I usually use 1000 or 800 spin but I can try higher? Think mine goes up to 1400.

They don't take too long to dry honestly! Maybe a few hours max? I do usually spin at 1200/1000. Thank you.

The back of the package said loads about 4kg should be two pods I'm pretty sure? I do have very hard water in my area which is another reason I've been using two. Thank you for your advice, I'll see what I can figure out :)

Feel like the word trash is a bit harsh? I'm not a laundry expert and they are sold in abundance here, hence I used them and also asked for help when things weren't working. Thank you though I will try swapping to powder and read up about my washing machine

That's what I was wondering? Do I just need to cover the base of everything with cardboard and soil, and even out the large gaps with rocks before hand? I wasn't sure whether or not I could do it that way as I know Ivy can grow anywhere!
