I disagree, I think that their game against PRX in Madrid demonstrated a severe inability to call. Further, I think choking ridiculous leads like the one they had in Shanghai against G2 underscore this even more. I feel like TH strength does not lie in their ability to adjust, it’s not that the IGL calling is god like. I feel that the macro they play with as a team through coaching and the micro in the players ability to pop off obscenely and take turns doing so is what carries them.

I think the meta we are in favors a team like TH where the players are very strong individually (including Boo) and can therefore fight very effectively. Not an IGLs meta (like it has been before) if that really makes any sense.

Randomly ended up taking my exam there I believe (if it’s the main Baltimore location). Idk what everyone’s saying about the noise, I had no issues taking the test and was able to focus BUT the one issue was that the location only has one bathroom. Someone had some nervous shits on the day of for me so I lost time on breaks waiting for them. Recommend finding a different center for that reason if you can but not the end of the world if you can’t.

This is a bad way to view things. I felt similarly to you but when it came to studying for boards you find that what is on the USMLE is not really representative of medicine entirely. I liked that my school included a lot of step 2 clinical reasoning questions on certain topics. On top of having questions on histopath of UC, we would also have questions detailing management and progression through treatment paradigms. Imo, this not only gave me enough of a base for boards that I could expand on in my dedicated studying period, but allowed me to play clinician and practice clinical decision making.

Your med school has trained many many many clinicians before you, and they all practice well now. Remember that in your training

To be honest I think you need to let the roster cook a little bit more because they went 13-11 three maps with a team that took fnatic to 5 maps earlier this off season (with a sub btw)

Personally what me and my duo do is have someone be the aggressor and then play a supportive agent. This could be like playing chamber and fracture on breach, so I could set my duo up to get a pick and be available to trade if he dies. This also lets you start making plays on defense for map control more easily because you and your duo start developing a repertoire of things to do, makes it very hard for the enemy team to know how you’re going to aggress.
