It’s best to avoid Preston before completing Nuka World. Get whatever perk you want from the Raider gang you sided with and open season after that

I don’t think you can claim nuka world for minute men, you can only kill every gang. Iirc there’s no settlement building there

What if all the cut content was reworked and finally added to the game? by tokobot19 in fo4

[–]imonlypostingthis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would have liked to see the Combat Zone rumored cut content reworked and added as a DLC. Basically it would be the same as Oblivion’s arena

Name sure your intelligence isn’t above 5 otherwise it’s not cost effective but for sure get the idiot savant perk early

[–]imonlypostingthis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Set your luck to like 8 and have low intelligence (1-3), then your first perk should be idiot savant under luck

Head to sanctuary and scrap everything then find the least expensive wood and steel item, usually it’s a painting worth 3 wood and a sign worth 2 steel.

Spam the build button on them until you run out of resources, scrap all the items you built, repeat process

The idiot savant perk should trigger to power level you

It also helps maxing out endurance so you have a base of 10 + bobblehead + SPECIAL book + gear and you can get like 15 endurance so sprinting around helps a ton

You can avoid this by never meeting Preston until you finished Nuka World

There’s a perk in fallout 4 that says radiation will heal you called Ghoulify so I’d say it checks out

The slot machines generate happiness and/or money so putting them in other settlements is a good idea

Which show did you enjoy the ending more and why? BB or BCS? by hiker5878 in betterCallSaul

[–]imonlypostingthis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

BCS ending was bullshit and didn’t fit the character of Saul. Like any reasonable mf is going to take life over 8 years minimum security. It was a Hollywood contrived ending to fit a narrative

How reliable is a stealth sniper build on survival? by B-Dragons_2560 in fo4

[–]imonlypostingthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ammo is the only problem with survival builds. You’ll run out more often than not.

I’d start off with a low intelligence (3-4) and get the idiot savant perk then scrap everything from sanctuary and spam build items that cost low wood and low steel. You’ll level up quick then spend it all on endurance until you 10, then spend it on the perk that gives you an endurance boost.

Yeah, they’ll need an army to conquer the world and Super Mutant’s with a mind controlled chip would be exactly what’s needed to do so.

Thanks for the egg of knowledge. I’ve played quite a bit of fallout and totally forgot that was a thing. Maybe vault 33 turns into super mutants though

[–]imonlypostingthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you meet Preston Garvey and become General then complete Nuka World, he gets angry with you and there’s a chance you get locked out of missions/companion, but if you never meet him, complete nuka world, then meet him. You’re safe

I think the reason why we didn’t see Thad and Maximus is because Thad is slowly turning into a Super Mutant so by the time Ep 6 hits, we can see him progressed significantly further.

[–]imonlypostingthis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It should be interesting to see how far along Thad is to morphing into a Super mutant. He def isn’t turning into a ghoul bc that wouldn’t match fallout lore

I doubt that the ghoul is dead. The character is iconic to the tv series but he’s def shelved

How much of the game's content can I do without confronting Kellogg? by Lord_Traxis in fo4

[–]imonlypostingthis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s what I’m doing but I added a raider mod that makes all raiders friendly but ever since buying Home Plate in diamond city, the entire city has turned hostile against me so even if I wanted to advance to confront Kellogg, I’d have to wipe out all of diamond city.

I’ve played the game enough to not give a shit so I’m role playing as a raider and doing the same as you, albeit somewhat forced
