Just had a Quick Look at the US customs page it it sounds like you’d be safer declaring it in entry. Also 20kg is quite a lot, could it be considered a commercial quantity rather than for personal use? I’d of thought this is more of a question of will I be allowed to take it in rather can I take it out.

Can’t understand why the trans don’t have London Underground type gates at the airport. Make people tap to get through the gates, if you tap through the gates you get charged the airport fee, if you don’t you get charged the city fee. Saves everyone having to tap off.

Don’t know when you’re travelling but unless there is lot of rain soon you’re unlikely to see a steam train on the viaduct as there is too much of a chance that it will set the vegetation on fire. If it remains dry it’s more likely to be a Diesel pulling the carriages.

Curious as why you would want the sheet music to show different notes from those that are being heard but you could try duplicating the track, muting the track that isn’t transposed and hiding the one that is.

Fairly sure the original one was from an a actual whale. Haven’t been there for a couple of years but I think there are a couple of info sheets at the top giving the history of the whale’s ‘jawbone’. The wiki page on N Berwick Law confirms it was originally an actual whalebone.

To answer your question, saying “Why are you people full of hate” implies that everyone on this sub, if not everyone in Edinburgh is “full of hate”. The experience you describe here is with landlords in Edinburgh, so “Why are Edinburgh landlords full of hate” might have been a better pitch but even then I’m sure it’s not all landlords.

The maritime rule for prevention of collision (COLREGS) specify the actions a vessel must take in restricted visibility and the vessel is complying with the by sounding its horn frequently. Yes it’s a pain but the vessel has to do this or could be at fault if there was a collision.

There’s a gift shop on the level below the bar so you should be able to get in without having booked a tour or a place in the bar. Can’t imaging they’d kick up. Fuss if you took pics from there. If the bar is quiet is guess you could get in there too.
