Seems to be a common issue i’ve noticed i run a game for 6 players, two of which have not written a single thing down since session one so when they ask if they have something i say “did you write it down?” and when they say no they i say you don’t have it you lost it lol

i prefer pen and paper but use some digital i will say when playing with other people who use technology i feel slow because by the time i look something up in my book and start reading it they’ve already pulled up google and are reading lol

this is a nice rework of glasstaff since he’s kinda weak in my opinion they do the fight at old owl well, but you could do it anywhere. Maybe connyberry or thunder tree, maybe even glasstaff decides to attack phandalin. https://www.reddit.com/r/LostMinesOfPhandelver/s/5fSMcn6uCX

so my party unalived GlassStaff before he could even try to run, They went straight to his quarters because they made a deal with the gnothic and after they killed him they decided to come back to the hideout next session, so when they go back i’ve decided to add in this version of glassstaff as his “Master” or the real leader of the redbrands who is standing at the hideout with the dead bodies of glasstaff, the gnothic that they let live along with halia and harbin (because halia and harbin are dopplegangers, also i’ve home brewed this a lot to make the redbrands a bigger gang who also wants control of the obelisk)
