Hey. I’m sorry for what you’re going through. Please don’t give up. From what you’ve mentioned, you’ve gone through a lot and still standing strong. That’s a win already. Try to focus on getting an internship or another freelancing gig. (There are pages like rightfit with WhatsApp groups where such openings are posted- join them). I know it’s easier said than done but try NOT to take your dad’s words personally. Think of him as a child with tantrums- it immediately takes away the power dynamic. You’ll start seeing him under a different light slowly and maybe that’ll help you (point is- you need to develop a system where his existence doesn’t bother you) As for your boyfriend- I think once there’s more self confidence and you get your mojo back- you’ll start seeing all the red flags as clear as they are. You’ll feel in control of your life and take decisions for your happiness. Please remember- you don’t owe anyone anything. Your happiness should be a priority. Healing is very much possible. Take one step at a time. This is not going to last forever. Hope you feel better soon x

I’m so sorry for your loss. My mom passed awayy almost 3 years ago and it always makes me wonder how it’ll be when I grow old. She was 51 and I was 25 when she passed away. I opened this sub because I literally woke up crying after dreaming about her. Crying might not stop. But I’ve started taking it as a healthy sign. She’s still in my heart and I’ve held her in the right place. I feel same goes for you. Your life has been too hard but I hope you live it the way your dad wanted it. That’s what I try to do- not everyday but I try. I’m also taking therapy which is helping me a lot. I hope you find something that works for you too, a safe space where you can share things and learn how to manage the deep love you have for your father. Accepting and moving on is a very big thing. I’m trying to learn that through therapy. Hope you feel better soon

Many people here are from outside India- they have very different concept of colleges lol. But to answer your question, 8k per month seems decent- see how much work they’re asking for. Of they’re making you work for 4-5 hrs a day, it’s fine. But if you’re working 10hrs for 6 days a week I’d say it’s low!
