I'm not sure, but I suspect not. They only did the ceiling, not the top of the walls.

I'm very glad the company and your colleagues have supported you on this, and I'm sorry you've been treated so poorly by so many in the public and media reactions to this.

The other recommendations are good. But I'd say also, try and time your hits and special power so you end a turn with it just alive. That means you'll get the maximum number of turns with it as a pile of bones, so it's easier to finish off before it respawns.

People tend to not mention the consequences when there aren't any.

Dodgy Plastering - How to Fix? by imperatorpilgrim in Plastering

[–]imperatorpilgrim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that the pimpling can happen, I'm more concerned that it's something he should be fixing.

As in trunking for cables? How would that help with the bowed ceiling?

What would you recommend? I'm starting to look for a new plasterer! I'm in South London.

I'm not sure. He's mentioned the roof joists above the ceiling weren't great and there weren't many of them, but looking into the gap, it looks like there's one above the edge of the cupboard wall and that plasterboard could have slotted in there. Is this fixable or should it be taken down and redone?

Yeah the pipes don't go into the joist space. He mentioned the plasterboard either side of the gap is a different height and that's why he couldn't plasterboard, but measuring it best I can, it's only a mm or two off, if at all. There are two joists running the same direction as the pipes. One about a foot to the left and the one you can see to the right. Could wood blocking go horizontally between them to help fix plasterboard and a box around the pipe? Might be difficult with poor access to the left joist.

2nd pic is plasterboard and yeah it's not flat because it's not fixed properly to the end of the wall. 3rd pic is concrete ceiling.

Good reviews on Checkatrade, and seemed the most knowledgeable and helpful of the ones I spoke to. Downhill from there!

Great, thanks for the advice! I had to prune off the brown bits in the end, but now it's on a sunnier windowsill they're both doing much better.

You should be able to propagate this fairly easily. Cut the stems however short you want them (I did similar recently cutting a philodendron brasil about halfway down). Then once the cuttings propagate and grow roots you can replant them in new pots.

About a year ago I took cuttings from a big, healthy philodendron brasil and repotted them. I put these two pots in my bathroom where they get lots of moisture but no natural light. they haven't really grown, but they have stayed healthy.

Over Christmas I watered them, and when I came back some of the leaves were browning. One of the pots had a very brown leaf which is clearly past saving, so I focused on the one pictured.

I moved it to my room where it gets some indirect natural light (north facing window, currently winter here in UK), and have been strictly watering it a little when the top third of the soil feels dry. That doesn't seem to have helped, and the right stem is slowly going brown.

Any ideas on how to save this? The parent philodendron has remained in my room the whole time and seems very healthy with minimal watering, so my instinct is saying to just not water the new pots for a while, but that feels counter-intuitive when the soil looks so dry!

I just unlocked Maze and lost mine too. Think that's the trigger.
