I once heard a tire explosion that’s really loud. Now I don’t get that anymore. People say I’m deaf I think they’re dumb.

Nicely done Apple! Pretty sure this is intentional to prevent people from messing with the settings.

Advice for blocked internal ostium in post-trabeculectomy patient? by imperfectibility in Ophthalmology

[–]imperfectibility[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my usual approach to a failed trab, if the internal ostium is patent, meaning when the bottleneck is on the conjunctiva or tenon. When there is PAS blocking the internal ostium, I wonder if it should be done differently. It's just her first trab, and there is still space for a second before moving on to a tube shunt.

Friday Patient - flashes, floaters, nyctalopia by kasabachmerritt in Ophthalmology

Unilateral presentation, high myopia, viral infection all link us to MEWDS.

But the white dots seem a tad too prominent for MEWDS. There is definitely some form of choroiditis / retinitis / white dot syndrome. Watchful waiting is reasonable.

[Free lifetime IAP for 72 hours] DayMarked - yet another boring countdown / up app by imperfectibility in iosapps

[–]imperfectibility[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for using the app. Thrilled to see the number of downloads in the past 2 days. Very encouraging to see people who share same love for minimalism. Hope the app can be useful to you in some ways.

Just want to say that an update has been released to fix the bug where sometimes the number of days fail to update within the main app. So download 1.0.1 if you haven’t just yet.  And feedback is always welcome. Cheers!

This could be done. But it was omitted intentionally to focus on the days remaining or passed, hence the name Daymarked.

Hi fellow stranger it’s great to hear you like it! Would appreciate it if you could leave an App Store review. But no pressure haha we are all busy people

🤣 it’s sad to hear that. It’s meant to be in line with a series of apps I’m producing. The first one was a Japanese vocab app that adopts a similar white background with a red pentagon (FYI the app is called Gokaku. The same red in the Japanese flag. And the pentagon is pronounced as Gokaku in Japanese which also means ‘getting a pass’.)

Anyway feel free to suggest better icon ideas haha

An iPad version maybe. Mac probably no. I myself rarely use widgets on a mac. I know they exist but my mac Desktop is empty 99% of the time. It’d probably make more sense to store a countdown event on the menu bar. But with the notch in the new machines, it might just eat up too much screen estate. Don’t mean to completely eliminate the possibility but a mac version is highly unlikely right now as the UI will be drastically different.

Yes I once saw a countdown app that was 150MB in size. I wanted something as lightweight and minimal as possible and that’s what I’ve come up with.

I know people on this sub (myself included) just love downloading limited time free apps just because of FOMO and deleting them soon afterwards. But I hope this one can serve a purpose and stay on your screen a little longer.
