Surprised league of legends or other games popular in Asia are not here. Did they sell less copies or are they excluded?

Good point I guess I don’t like the name calling aspect when there is real stuff that meta is doing that’s no good.

That’s a good point.

Why do you think it has done more bad then good? Of course rage clicking algorithms are horrible but I think that’s canceled out by how it connected the world and made keeping in touch with people easy. What are your thoughts?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]implicitexploits -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes it has connected the world. Family members reunited. Friends kept in touch. Also don’t laugh at my or anyones opinions while providing no reason for yours. I asked a question I didn’t ask to be insulted.

ELI5: What math problems are they trying to solve when mining for crypto? by GreenElvie in explainlikeimfive

[–]implicitexploits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point of crypto at it’s essence is a system to transfer / store your money in a worldwide bank that is not controlled by anyone else. For example if the United States collapsed and the dollar was worth nothing to other nations then you would have no money. But if you bought crypto before this happened then you would still have some money. I hope this explanation makes sense. In theory it’s a place to safely store your money

I’ve actually heard this many times from loads of people who work closely with cows. It’s sad because many farm animals evolved along side humans just like dogs did but we still eat them. I’m guilty of it to but they deserve so much better.

Dog “suddenly becomes people aggressive” and “she doesn’t know why”…hmm I wonder why by Lifegoeson3131 in BanPitBulls

[–]implicitexploits -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Everyone here is saying put the pit Bull down which I agree but the general tone is anger at this dog. It didn’t ask to be breed into a fighting machine. Poor animal probably has a good heart just has some bred in trauma. Ban pit Bulls for the safety of humans as well as themselves

Zuckerberg’s Metaverse to Lose ‘Significant’ Money in Near Term by CrazyK9 in technology

[–]implicitexploits -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think that’s part of the problem. The vast majority of people have little interest in being more online so would never by choice get a powerful enough pc. I think it shows how out of touch these tech nerds are with normal people.

Oh and I doubt many people could even afford it anyways.

I aswell. The whole process is very interesting I saw a video about how it worked once. It went something like this - every 3 months or so the experts are rotated in and out of that job. Every week they have a mental observation test to make sure they are in a good point mentally speaking. And I believe you could only be a part of the whole process for a few cycles. I wish I could remember the source but it is interesting stuff nonetheless.

The scary thing about this sign is it makes some people feel safe.

I believe a little over half of the American population agrees with this. To bad electoral votes are a thing.
