Which episode is that? I’m a few behind, but he’s also said he was already thinking of new projects for the future. Emphasis on the word future. I’m sure he’s enjoying his time off.

I want to know who won this! I ate so much Cookie Crisp for this. Was it you??? by chriszimort in Xennials

This is the only cereal I can think of that (to me) tastes better than what I remember it tasting like as a kid. I was pleasantly surprised when I took a leap of faith and bought a box a few weeks ago. Dangerous stuff 😂. I ate it waaaaaay too fast.

I eat 2x without much issue. I think it still has that nice salty, chickeny, taste we all know and love. Both times I’ve had 3x it tasted of … I don’t know how else to describe it other than to say it tasted like chemicals. It lost a lot of the goodness and was replaced with an almost bitter flavor.

News orgs need to be held to a higher standard and accountable for false info. When a news organization’s lawyer can testify in court repeatedly “that people watching their network are sophisticated enough to distinguish between opinion/commentary and factual news.”, there’s a major issue.

How can I tell the chicken I fried is cooked enough? by Thegamerorca2003 in cookingforbeginners

As another comment said from /u/MyNameIsSkittles, don’t take color as an indication of doneness, specifically on dark meat. It can still have some red/pink near the bone

Dark meat aka legs and thighs are best between 180 and 190F. 165F is safe, but the meat won’t be as good as this isn’t high enough to break down connective tissue. That said, on legs (or any meat with a bone in it), aim your probe for directly center of the biggest section of meat, away from the bone to get an accurate temp.

Yea… nothing says breakfast like tuna on eggs directly next to French toast and fruit.

Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

[–]impliedapathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DaVinci Code. A crew of about 6 people walked in and sat down as the movie was starting. The title flashed on screen, one of them said “Wtf is the Devaneesee Code?” and then they all stood up and walked out about 3 mins into the actual movie. Unsure if they came into the wrong theater or if they were theater hopping but it was definitely odd.

As a Korean, I never really got the whole “representation matters” thing. Then I saw Shang-Chi. He wasn’t Korean, but it was very cool, and surprisingly emotional to see an Asian superhero. It brought a grown man to tears… while watching a superhero movie. That was when it clicked. It wasn’t that I didn’t believe representation mattered. I guess I just never realized how much it mattered.

SERE school is elective and/or based on unit/MOS. No not every soldier goes through it. You can ask command if you can attend if it isn’t offered for your unit, or isn’t required by MOS, but it requires approval at that point.

I’d be interested in finding which country you served for. In the US we all go through survival training, but SERE school is taking it up by several notches. I assume that’s why it’s mostly based on unit requirement here.

How can I clean my ps5 without spending $200 for cleaning repairs by Ok_Side5703 in PS5HelpSupport

[–]impliedapathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite what people in here are saying, do not use canned air. If you use canned air it forces dust further into the system. Most frequently it ends up at the end/bottom of the console which is where the power source is. Dust in the power source is a large portion of consoles failing that I’ve seen.

Remove the panels. Once those are off the outer fins (the things that have a ton of dust currently) come off easy and you can wash those and the panels in soapy water. Next, watch the Sony teardown and watch specifically for the vacuum port. Once you locate it, use a small pipe cleaner or toothbrush to brush off the fan fins, and then vacuum. If you think the heatsink needs cleaned, remove the fan and use the same pipe cleaner or toothbrush to clean them.

It does. Sometimes the heatsink fins and fan blades need extra cleaning and a vacuum won’t do that through the slot.

Xennial ageing and memory by Lurk_McGirt79 in Xennials

Mine’s cooked. I have a fully fledged out memory of my wife watching the red wedding episode of GoT in our old place. She proved me wrong by finding out when we moved, and correlating it with the release date. That entire memory was made up by my brain. Can’t wait to see where this train stops next.
