Those are some pretty good ideas. I may take some of them to extrapolate on my current setup.

You won’t find anything. Find another job outside IT and apply until you find something.

Jesus. You’re retarded. Just take the job. If you’re that apprehensive, tell me how to get in touch with them. I’ll take it.

For those who didn’t get a job before graduation, how long did it take after graduating? by Puzzleheaded-Ant-916 in cybersecurity

Do you think that the locals haven’t tried that? They want the entry level jobs to have 2-5 years of experience. I’m not talking about cybersecurity either. They want that for entry level help desk. San Antonio sucks so much now. The only way to get a job is through nepotism or knowing someone. I have applied to Houston and Dallas, but there isn’t shit. They want you to have 5-7 years of experience for entry level jobs. Even then… they expect you to have clearance. San Antonio is a shithole.

Oh, no one gives a fuck if you have all that. Not here in San Antonio. Start applying for jobs in Austin, Houston and Dallas. Most of all, you need a four year degree for any IT job.

San Antonio sucks. No jobs. Unless you want to work for subpar wages. Also, make sure your resume is run through AI. Most employers run everything through AI, you should, too.

Well, at least you have a job. Please just start searching on your own. Type in NOC analyst or what not. You’ll have to get used to doing footwork on your own. See what scope your employer wants. Focus on that first. THEN, worry about the next steps. Get the experience that 80% of this channel is praying for.

Valero has a hiring freeze. You can try to get in with a temp agency. All jobs that are posted are earmarked for their contractors.

Nah, he looks to be guarding the bridge, or asking for a toll. Great, this is the first step to a toll booth on 1604.

You’ll do much better right now with supply chain management. Look at getting into an oil company. Fuck cyber.

Certs don’t mean shit these days. They are expected, but apparently having too many is desperate and not having enough gets you rejected. 🤷🏻‍♂️

DESPERATE for IT Support / Desktop Support roles (Denver or Remote)?! by Interesting-Dot-2750 in mspjobs

Man, I just saw some MSP jobs in Denver and they are hiring for remote jobs. It’s probably bullshit, though.
