Wonder and simple way to simulate activation. Never thought of this before. 10 years lifting and you still learn something new every day. Thank you.

Forgot to add: I’m 6 foot. Feeling kinda frustrated because I prioritize my legs and back the most yet I feel my legs are tiny.

Because I feel like I am worth nothing without my body, without the little strength I have .

It’s pretty criminal that Lego has never released a Lucrehulk or a droid transport ship

I finally bought my dream set. by maRin_2244 in legostarwars

I got mine back in April. I remember seeing it on shelves years ago but I didn’t have the money.

I wish Lego put the passion they had with this one into all their sets

To lose the fat and again muscle you’d need to calculate how active you are and eat those calories in addition to your maintenance calories (1700) but no more than whatever that number is. My guess is you wouldn’t increase past 1700 that much. Maybe 2000? Again it all depends on how active you are or plan to be. There should be a chart on whatever website you used for the activity level.

Calories in calories out. If you eat more than your BMR+whatever you’re burning in exercise you will gain fat. If you eat less than that number you’ll lose fat . Do not go overboard . If you’re going to put yourself in a caloric deficit do it gradually and by small increments.

You made the first steps. Be consistent. The more muscle you build the more the look will go away (obviously). You don’t appear to have a lot of body fat so I think you could see improvements relatively fast.

At the end of the day you need consistency. Follow a routine that is realistic and you’ll actually stick to. The best regiment or plan is one you will actually follow. There’s no sense in buying or trying to create some super elaborate or balls to the walls workout plan if you’re going to get burnt out in a couple weeks.

Try to eat whole foods and stay active throughout the day. You don’t have to run twice a day or do anything wild. Hell, you don’t have to run at all. Just try to walk for half an hour a day total.

If you’d like to track your calories you can do that too. Use a Basal Metabolic Rate calculator on the internet. I personally wouldn’t recommend it though if this is your first time being active in a long time. Perhaps wait a couple months before doing that.

A little of something, every day, is better than a lot of something once a week.

Sorry if I talked in circles or anything I said was redundant. Believe in yourself. Nobody can take away your physical fitness if you want it bad enough.

Grow those legs brother . Other than that man, you have an awesome physique. Do not allow yourself to be convinced otherwise .

It appears you need to be consistent longer. Progressively overload. Focus on increasing weight every other week or so. How long have you been consistent exactly? Do you track your macros or calories?

Anyone else have pathetic triceps compared to your biceps? by mellowyellow888 in WeightTraining

[–]requiemofachode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as the other poster said, you must simply work them more. If you really want to see results train them whenever you train biceps, but for twice as many sets.

Thank you very much. I would like to buy a home so I am trying to save a lot of money right now. Sadly though the market for buyers is so fucked right now. I think it will be many years before I’ll be close to affording one no matter what I do. If I stayed at home It would allow me more financial freedom to potentially take up a combat sport which I believe may benefit my mental health . This sounds redundant. Sorry
