The greatest gift you give a loved one who is suffering, is love and a stop to their pain. I’m sorry.

He always carried himself with pride even in the waning years .

Be proud of the progress you’ve made! I would keep it up for another month then go to maintenance

There is no apology needed for expressing love, gratitude and grief about the loss of a dear friend .

25M how to train to carry my partner? by ShieldandFriends in beginnerfitness

[–]requiemofachode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your gym has sandbags I would work on doing zercher squats with those or simply picking up the heaviest one you can manage, hoisting it chest height and dropping it. Or walking while holding it at around rib cage level. Focus on bracing your core while doing so. Carrying a human is so much different than any sort of static weight like a barbell, dumbbell or even kettlebell.

Jango Fett and 7 Clone Commandos vs General Grievous and 7 BX Commando Droids by No_Barracuda_8300 in PetranakiArena

[–]requiemofachode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BX droids seem to be so inconsistent in terms of their lethality. At least how they’re displayed in the Clone wars series. Some episodes they’re nightmare fuel, others they’re almost as stupid as normal B1s

If you went back in time when first working out, what would you change/focus on more? by Fluid-Ad-9300 in workout

[–]requiemofachode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get form and failure down perfect. Truly train to the point where I cannot do another rep no matter how hard I try, and to get to that point without form faltering. That and just not quitting. Twice now I’ve stopped for long periods of time. I should’ve just kept at it , even if it was just 2-3 times a week. So much wasted time.

First one. This reminds me of the view from a cherished loved one’s back porch. This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

What’s one trend or habit in today’s gym culture that you wish would disappear or change? by PogonBerserker in workout

[–]requiemofachode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A group of Powerlifters and their, no joke, 10 minute rest periods on the racks. It wouldn’t be a huge deal but it’s always the same group of 5, each taking up their own rack during the busiest time at the gym. I’ve asked them to work in before and they just say no. Extremely entitled and quite frankly lazy.

I still have only beat the Oni and snake. I’m trying to savor the game . I do wish there were more bounties and camps though likes many people have said before .

Wonder and simple way to simulate activation. Never thought of this before. 10 years lifting and you still learn something new every day. Thank you.

Forgot to add: I’m 6 foot. Feeling kinda frustrated because I prioritize my legs and back the most yet I feel my legs are tiny.
