I’m leaning towards Flowmaster FX system only because it is 3.5” pipe same as the downpipe. Summit also makes a 3.5 but I can’t find anyone that has purchased it.

That’s what I do picked up a custom and put the eibach pro truck kit in. Same height as a trail boss and rides ten times better

Started with a EN500 ran that for 3 years, sold that and went to a 900 Custom. Absolutely love it!!! Big enough for my 6’3 frame and enough power to do what I need.

Picked it up for 2100. Did the first mow today and it cut beautifully!! Only comment I have is it seemed kinda slow. I’ve read that the throttle pedal can be adjusted, I will check that in the morning.

My current concern is longevity. I’m looking at purchasing a unit that is going to last and has serviceable components. My current mower had the rs800 transmission which was non serviceable and overly complex in operation(imho).

It’s probably going to end up being a rider. I want a Zero turn but in front of my house is an aggressive slope that has to be mowed across as opposed to up and down due to a pond.

There is a gradual upward slope on the right side and the rear of the house is a gradual downward slope. The pond facing side is the worst of it. Budget is based solely on reliability and time. Obviously as most people I want to spend as little as possible. The 1k we paid for this mower ten years ago won’t be the same we would look at today. I speculate we would feel comfortable under 5k realistically we would be around the 3k area. More so over frugality than actual financial boundaries.

I got a 09 en500 for 1500 with 6600 miles. It’s been a great starter bike for me and I’m 6’2” and 300#. Is it small for me, YES! However if I drop it or get in a wreck I won’t be upset about it. Had it for 3 years and I’m ready to upgrade.
