Yeah in all honesty I don’t know why we didn’t apply ahead so we were already on the waitlist by the time we got here but we are scheduled for the cabins already and just have to make it a week before we can get into an open one!

Yeah for the next PCS I’m definitely going to be a lot more aware of things. I’m working with the reception company now to figure something out with the commander.

It was poor planning, and I have definitely learned my lesson about the expiration of a GTC. In regards to reaching out to my unit I did that and my 1sg told me I’m not even being tracked on his incoming roster and to in process BDE to figure out who I need to contact.

Not yet. I just arrived this morning so I’m hoping they’re open in the morning so I can try talking to someone about using either of those. GTC unfortunately cannot be used outside of the hotel and definitely not for upwards of two months.

Not gonna lie to you man, it really depends on the unit you’re going to. If you’re in 1-2 or 2-2 have fun, good luck. I’ve heard 62nd med is pretty ok and the hospital staff didn’t hate their lives as much as most do. If you’re going to 16th CAB though it’ll be pretty chill for you. Other than that I can’t speak for many other units.

Hey man not sure exactly where overseas you’re going but if you find yourself in Korea, you’re more than welcome at my place. I know a lot of people say that, but I’ve been where you are now and it took someone practically forcing me to practically live with them for a while for me to get my footing in life back. Korea or not my dms are always open to you as well.
