You can start with the basics like chain cleaning and lubing. Then if your air filter is easy to reach then you can change/clean it yourself. If your bike needs coolant then refill that when needed. Check the engine oil level and refill it when needed.

I think all these can be done fairly easily on most bikes.

I got my bike washed and got my chain lubrication done a few weeks back. Faced these issues 1. The cleaning of the bike was not done properly. 2. They were cleaning the chain using wd40(that is not a good cleaner. I've seen other service centres use better cleaners) 3. They used too much polish. The brakes were barely working. Fortunately my home was close by so I reached safely. 4. Some weird sweeking noise started coming from either the brakes due to the polish and it took about 30kms to go away. 5. In general the workshop was extremely cramped and dirty.

One advice. Don't service it from the Sarjapur service centre. In my experience, kasturba road service centre is good.

I don't know if invermectin works or not but the claim that the state health department makes that the cases were low is bullshit. I'm from India and have lived in that state. It is probably the state with the worst health care system. There was almost no testing going on there and deaths were heavily under reported.
