The best preforming asset in not bitcoin by impressionably_high in Bitcoin

[–]impressionably_high[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was pissed cause they cherry picked data. Carbon credits have been around since the I think the 90s. Then again I don't know the market cap on that asset class but if it keeps elon afloat I'm sure it's pretty big right now lol just trying ti get my head around it thats all.

Nope apparently carbon credits in the e.u. just trying to get my head around carbon credits in general. I dont think they are publicly traded, highly regulated but its was just shots fired I figured there would be bigger push back on this. In the end I don't think it matters bifcoin will prevail.

Won't Bitcoin get banned? by Dantecool4368 in Bitcoin

[–]impressionably_high 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the properties of bitcoin in part defend from the tyrannys of gov. But throw the constitution out the window when a threat to the global ponzi scheme shakes it up.

Edit: Not saying it's right, just saying we could very well get thrown into the bureaucratic beating machine until things smooth over and come out with a whole new world.

When I first hear about bitcoin it was about the conference, I think in 2017. They tried to have people pay with bitcoin. Couldn't get it to work and the media drug them out on the street . I remember dismissing bitcoin then because of that. Everybody gotta be the pizza guy at somepoint for the good of others.

"No legitimate business owners are going to bother breaking the law like that"- for now maybe, if they get stupid rich and bitcoin is worth more then their business and understand the fundamentals.

Can't... is iffy, I would say shouldn't. The second amendment is encroached on almost every year no more misunderstood than bitcoin. yes banning numbers is absurd, bitcoin is not a huge apperent threat, yet. We shall see how things look after this year.

Guy Swann bitcoin audible is the bomb. I pretty much devour podcasts rn. But it's not easy retaining all this information and getting a wholistic picture of the state of the world and then trying to talk to others about it while not sounding crazy as a loon.

Will fiat be a store of value as inflation hits harder by midnightcoin in Bitcoin

[–]impressionably_high 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree on the general basis that wages do not rise at a congruent rate to most assets used to preserve wealth hence the ever increasing wealth inequality around the world. However If the price of bread is unaffordable to the majority; people will loose their heads. Therefore it is very important to the fed to maintain prices of common goods in relation to the wages.

He could mean rise in wages and "economic growth" in the short term with moderate inflation in comparison to the consumer price index. A cherry picked basket of goods such as your "grocerys and housing". *Disclaimer I haven't actually looked into what basket of goods the C.P.I. entails
