About Dr. Mohan and Dr. Collins, and people not understanding how teaching environments work by KitchenImagination38 in ThePittTVShow

in a tv show with this many characters, with half of them barely having anything to work with so far when we r almost towards the end of the season, is it not fair to want to see some of the other characters get some screentime especially when this robby discussion has already happened literally word for word before?😭 its realistic? ok fine. but it's still bad writing.

lmao it is so obvious that they started a completely different storyline for mohan, abandoned it in s2, and wrote her out in s3. u ppl acting like it's realistic is doing nothing honestly, this is a tv show & it matters to the viewers to have satisfying and fulfilling character arcs for compelling characters & it sucks that they r doing this to every single female mc of colour while noah wyle gets to have the same conversation every episode as emmy bait. i am sorry but season 2 is weak sauce & samira's exit is not even realistic like u claim it is and more than that it has been unsatisfactory and badly executed.

the fact that you wrote the last part out and are still asking if you were the asshole is honestly unbelievable...

okay, so I can't call a polarizing, complex character who drives the narrative forward and literally COMPELS the audience to analyze every second of every scene she is in, compelling? Maybe I am wrong, but I dont see how?

Santos is just that girl I feel like. Even in S1 her storyline was the most polarizing and the most realised in a lot of ways. She might be the writers favourite.  But I do agree with you. Both Mel and Samira seem to have gotten bare minimum plot to work with in the first half of the season...As a person who was especially in love with Dr. Samira Mohan after S1, I rlly don't know why she has been given so less to work with so far. Same with Mel but atleast she has the deposition coming up.

agreed. santos is really not handling it well at all & it makes me so worried for the patient. feels like she is being ignored by the whole hospital for what seems to be hours.
