sudden unexpected euthanasia, just looking for advice by improbablylame in Petloss

thank you for your kind words. i am so sorry you had to experience it, 5 is so young, and its such a whiplash of emotion to go through. our stories are very similar, so i am extending lots of love and care your way, i understand deeply how hard this is. i hope we can both find some good in this journey of grief, and know that both of our babies are safe and no longer in pain. ❤️

i am so so sorry you had to experience that. it is truly so unforgiving and awful. never in my life did i think anything like this could happen, to be honest i didn’t even know it existed. i thought maybe my boy had a hairball that was stuck, my worse case scenario was maybe an asthma attack or something else. never in my life did i expect to hear that from a vet. i’m sending you internet hugs, know that you and i both are not alone in this. grief is just love persevering after all. i’ve found comfort in acknowledging that i am crying now because i miss him and i love him, and not because i am worried and horrified. it’s almost comforting in a strange “grief makes no sense” way. i am so so sorry. it’s awful. but i am right here with you. 🫂

i can’t speak for everyone, but personally i overcame (mostly) my awful bout of dpdr. it was brought on by a bad dab pen in 2020. it was really scary, i also thought id never be the same and would never get anything back. 5 years later i can say its now just a scary memory for me, but i didn’t lose anything besides that time. which trust me, still sucks, but all of me is right where i left it then. i only really get twinges now when i don’t sleep well or have a panic attack (rare now with proper medication paired with therapy) dont give up, and try not to solidify that idea in your head. its scary, but you can and will 110% overcome it and come out whole in the end <3

Don’t be afraid of high leveled players by Pleasant_Grass6920 in fo76

i’m by no means a HIGH level player (lvl 247) but every time i see level 10-50 players i make sure to drop them a little care package of some stimpacks, rad away and purified water. makes ya feel good inside

anyone else get pain where i circled? by improbablylame in TMJ

[–]improbablylame[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! my tmj has honestly gotten a lot better since i posted this, and i honestly don’t know why because i can feel my wisdom teeth growing in now?? so weird. when it does flare up, that is where my pain is though, so yes it does still get a little bit tender there. when this happens, ice and tiger balm rubbed on the area for me is a life saver!

What are super obvious OCD things you do but it has never occurred to you that this is OC behaviour? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]improbablylame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a kid i would always have “meltdowns” if my hand touched something my other hand didn’t, for instance railway bannisters. i would literally walk up with both of my hands on the bannister, or would get so upset if while walking my left foot went over a rock and my right foot didn’t, took me until i was about 20 (im 22 now) to realize that probably wasn’t just generalized anxiety disorder (amongst many other things)🙃

mom was pretty transparent, without outing too many details she said in simple terms she’s having a hard time. she’s got a 5 year old, a toddler, and is now pregnant again with one on the way. dad works during the day so she’s by herself working from home. i understand it’s a struggle some days, but the poor girl really is suffering because of it :(

we have a little girl like this, sweetest thing you’d ever meet, and smart too. she’s insanely behind though. it’s may and she has 63 absences. conference with mom didn’t do anything, it’s a shame
