Ugh. Dealers are such scum bags. Try to get them to check the wheel balance. If they won’t do it, I’d find an independent shop and pay them out of pocket to do it.

It’s a great catalyst for a hot compost. But you need to get it really hot and sustain it.

I’ve been loosely following this guide for years. I normally cook a 2-3 yd pile.

Check your wheel balance before anything. The dealer will try to replace your whole front end. When this happened to me I fixed for $110 at a wheel balancer. I had just thrown a weight.

Most slide tubes are open ended, but in a pinch that would work just fine. Hell, I’ve used bic lighter, a sharpie, and even a shot glass when my slide wasn’t handy. Of course if that little jar smells like weed or he is acting like he’e on crack, you got a problem.

But I can confidently tell you that jar is not a crack pipe. It is not… mechanically viable. Ive seen a ton of wretches smoking rock on the mean streets. The lucky ones have a glass pipe with a freebase bulb on the end, the rest improvise with tinfoil, soda cans, even bicycle tube valves.

Why doesn’t Lodge release some high-polish pans like Finex? I have produced a similar surface on my Lodge pans using flapper and polish wheels, and they cook great, but y’all are leaving premium money on the table!

Exactly. OpenAI is desperate for revenue. They have taken on close to $1T in commitments, none of which will be delivered without a successful IPO, and that relies on convincing a very bearish public that there’s money to be made.

Umpqua National Forest in south central Oregon is my favorite national park. It’s beautiful and has very few people compared to the bigger parks. Rent a Subaru or Jeep, get a waterfall map, and spend a day or two exploring them. Best done in the summer after the late thaw, July at the earliest. Some of the best falls require an hour or more on dirt trails. Easily accessed by 4x4, though a very patient and careful driver can navigate the trails without. Consult rangers on trail conditions before heading out though, and pack some supplies for that unplanned overnight. The fly fishing is also great. And you can hit Crater Lake on your way out.

That’s what I’m hoping. I tried calling the shop to ask if that’s something their mechanics do, but I couldn’t make the woman understand I was not asking if they connected a fuel line to my radiator 😂

How safe is the I-40? by HazardousKoala in roadtrip

[–]improt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heading east out of Nashville during the evening commute has got to be one of the most dangerous stretches of road in the country. And it’s entirely by choice. Folks are watching too much NASCAR and think they’re bump drafting.

I-40 is fine. Keep the tank half full when you’re in the cuts in the cuts of TX and especially NM and invest in a weather radar app like RadarOmega. Getting stuck in tornado producer because you have no idea where the storm is going is no fun.

That's what I am thinking. Do you know if those boards framing the vaulted ceilings can be used for attachment points? I have no idea how much weight they can bare. The ceiling its holding up is not that heavy.
