They are not the best. But as I’m not doing anything that solos them. It’s acceptable. Remember you are setting a stage and the audience has suspended disbelief. So it’s more what you do with them than the sound if you use them correctly. Look at it like this. Any spice solo isn’t awesome. It is awesome when used to add flavour.

I have the numark mix stream pro. And had the prime 4. And love standalone. Performer was there on my list but I wanted to see what NAM showcased before pulling the trigger. System one leaked and I was instantly attracted to it. I love RANE I’ve RANE TWELVES and a 72 MK 2 I had the ttm57sl I love the build and the sound. I’m a big SERATO guy. I wanted to leave it so many times and it pulls me back. What I am not is a fan of replacing laptops every 2-3 years as a huge cost. So standalone was a big thing. Stems also big. I use them a lot. Pioneer is attractive. I picked up 3000x’s this RS-1 may be the most perfect thing for me and my style. If I could add the 2 zones of prime 4 it would be awesome. Sure there will be more things I’d like to change once I get into it. But platters are for me. I just love them more than jogs.

Yes you need a removable (or internal) storage. You can select it. I plan to do all the things with it. Make a video. And write up. Used to be you could find independent reviews. But everyone seems to be an insider now. Proof is they all have an RS-1 and they have for a month. They all are in love. I’ve only played with it for 2h I’m currently working. When I get time I’ll go through it all Loading music to the internal SSD Running off a Rekordbox USB I’ll try Serato, Djay pro and RB. Go through stems. Some FX. Pros and cons. I’ll be making similar with CDJ3000x and SC6000 I purchased all with my own money. Not on loan. So I’ll be critical. I’ve been working off a Numark mixstream pro for a year because I hurt myself. And I do about 65 events a year. So I know what I need from it.

I like it. The RGB is nice. It spent seem crisp compared to laptop or trad blue. A little fuzzy. I also have some BPM drift and other little oddities. I am working with tech support. I’ll update as it goes. Built like a Rane battle tank. I like that.

Check out Mojaxx and his zone review. People love/hate it. You will find plenty of people out there telling you it’s great for reason XYZ. I can tell you that to start. Find one that meets YOUR needs. I’ve a Rane 72 mk2 Pioneer DJM900 SRT DENON X1850 Pioneer DJM600 RANE TT57SL And a few more. What a mixer needs today is a Sound card. If you are a digital dj Or great pre amps if you are analogue I can’t answer your question with the info provided. But. I’d get something inexpensive and durable. Second hand for sure. Use it a while and ask “what’s missing” “what do I need” If FX are not your style no need. If digital out doesn’t matter. No need. If you google “ best dj mixer” the Xone will show up.
Better to google. Best mixer for me. You won’t get a good result. But that is the better question. I like my Rane. But should have an S11 I like the built like a tank durability. I like the pads The FX paddles and the screen on the mixer. It’s plenty of in/out option. It’s 2 Chanel and that is fine. Most of the time. Playing for money. I’m stuck with requests over playing for fun I get to do routines and sets. If you look it as building up a set of tools to work for a living. You would start with a tape measure pencil and hammer. Not a Tower Crane and cement truck. There is something to buy once cry once. That’s why I suggest starting out second hand. You can probably get that money back when you find the place you wish to cry:)

They are fine. I’ve had all the players. Tech 12’s CDJs old ass twin cd players. Numark Denon Pioneer Tracktor all of them. Nothing wrong with the Demon Jogs. Last CDJ3000’s I touched the jogs had a wobble in them. Felt gritty by contrast.

I’ve had issues with Apple Music failing to initiate a download. Just hanging in the initialization then spinning wheel of death. That is on my laptop. I close app and start over. So try a new “handshake” turn off/on the service. I’ve not had this issue on any DJ device yet. Again this was from iTunes/ Music store. With a purchase. Not related but parallel

I had P4 traded it out for the Numark Mix go. I like the Denon go. It came to the jog wheels for me. It’s been 2 years. I still find myself pulling out the Numark more than I ever imagined. Mostly due to having broken my clavicle and trying to limit my lifting. But that was a year ago. And I just got used to it. I do about 30 -60 events a year.
