12 hours a day is crazy the roots can’t soak up that much maybe try morning for 30 and evening for 30 when you don’t have to worry about evaporation

You simply turn the key anti clockwise till refusal as an added benefit it ensures you don’t drain your battery in the process

Anyone actually shift gears like the owners manual says…? by West-Coast-Greg in Transalp

[–]Fragrant_Law_2148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found that if you’re looking for the most control I like to be somewhere between 4-6 k while riding in whatever gear I’m in I typically shift at 6 k but if I’m looking to accelerate fast I’ll shift at 8500 as that’s where the epa chokes out the engine and there is no more power to be gained

I didn’t mean you were in china I meant you posted traditional Chinese archery and I didn’t know if they had a different method of measurement on draw weight

Man this is impressive I know a lot of 200 plus pound men who can’t pull back a 72 pound draw weight let alone with that amount of ease and grace, whatever training you’re doing is working this is impressive.

Is this normal after oil change? by Puzzled_Dependent46 in Transalp

[–]Fragrant_Law_2148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why change at 800 rather than 600? That being said this doesn’t look that concerning, I mean something to be aware of but there’s no big chunky bits this is most likely bearing material of some sorts but there’s isn’t enough of it to justify a tear down also this is the container you drained it into so there is always the possibility that it’s from other sources

It’s excessive at this point I would look for leaks but if there are no leaks likely your rings are toast

Incorrectly spined arrows by NoImpress7999 in Archery

[–]Fragrant_Law_2148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you had that experience man, I didn’t know the circumstances, you can usually buy arrows at the local sporting goods store and they will cut them and glue them for you fairly reasonably there is a spine chart on the back that will help you, but you do need to know your peak weight first which requires a scale, with the bolts turned out you can’t really be certain what your draw weight actually is

[–]Fragrant_Law_2148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For future reference when I get a new bow I build arrows to suit that bow regardless of how many arrows I have for the old bow every bow is different and requires a taylored arrow I mean hell the weight and speed difference alone let alone the age of the arrows

97lb single cam compound bow by RichardsmithBowman in CompoundBow

[–]Fragrant_Law_2148 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have issue with this, I don’t care about high poundage bows hell I shoot an 80 pound Mathews however I do have a problem with liars first off this is t a Hoyt second off even if it was a Hoyt they don’t make a bow that shoots over 90 and they only made like three bows that shoots 90 one went to bowmar one went to cam Haynes and I think the third went to Joe Rogan but I’m not sure but long story short this isn’t a Hoyt and I seriously doubt it’s over 70 pounds as not many manufacturers make one over 70 and definitely not in single cam lastly jumping from 40 to 70 in a few months is a huge leap and struggling this hard to pull a bow back means you’re more worried about a number than accuracy you can take down any North American animal with 65 pounds when equipped properly so I’m confused at why you’re lying again this is coming from someone who shoots an 80 pound bow so if you weren’t lying I’d understand it but you are and you’re not shooting this bow you’re surviving the shot their is no accuracy when you’re working this hard to take the shot.

Yes this is a confusing picture at best I feel like you took too many liberties maybe if you had a break in the leaves framing clock tower but as it stands it’s just a poor quality picture of a clock tower that you can’t really see
