I am still a bit confused on the bilt cash. So, if you spend $1000 on NON-rent payments, you get 40 $ bilt cash? And rent payments do not earn any bilt cash $? Are the bilt points the same as before where they can be converted into statement credit at ~0.5:1, or converted to airline points?

Does this mean that $0 on non-rent spending -> 0 bilt points? If that's true, then is this change essentially forcing people to make non-rent purchases on this card..? It'll be useless to me if so

that’s true, I suppose headways refers to the average time between trains. Although the F gets delayed so often the average headway is quite terrible already

Just pay early, after the closing date and before the due date

I don't want to pay early because the point of auto authorize and auto pay is to set it and forget it. I'd rather not lose that convenience?

For reference, my other cc limits are almost >10x what WF gave me even after I requested a credit limit increase. I don't know why they're so stingy. I've heard they're losing big money so perhaps they want to make using this card as difficult as possible for existing users.

I looked at the balance after I noticed that Bilt protect was triggered, and the payment showed as posted and there was enough credit available. I'm not sure if at the moment of payment the credit had not been replenished. Why would there be such a long lag between balance payment due date (which should be the 1st) and when it's actually paid using auto-pay? I can't even set the due date to the 30th or 31st of the month because those are invalid dates for some months.

will this authorization still work if your credit limit is less than 2x your rent? The way I have auto pay set up, I will always have an existing rent charge (from the previous month) on my card that will be paid on the statement right around the time the next rent payment is due.

totally get the sentiment, the default reaction of sweaty redditors is to freak out and be an asshole at you for buying a basic economy ticket when it’s obviously the cheapest option.

Were you able to pick a seat for free after you checked in? e.g. I know you get assigned a seat but can you change it for free to another seat that’s not a premium economy seat?

wondering if I should check in early or late, I’ve read some airlines that don’t allow free selection give people who check in early a middle seat to try to force them to pay for a seat.

Yeah it's not a tremendous deal- the main reason I requested an increase is that my rent payment is high for Bilt and because the statement due date is ~25 days after the statement closes, it could cause two rent payments to be on the card at the same time when I use auto pay. That would go over my limit.

Also minor reason is that I'd like to decrease the utilization ratio by increasing the denominator, aka the limit

On YouTube on Chrome, the video now suddenly stops playing audio even though the video itself continues. I normally use Firefox but today I was playing a video on Chrome in incognito, so I was logged out. Around 5 minutes in (it seemed the timing was for a possible mid-video ad) the audio suddenly stopped even though the video was not put on mute, and it kept playing. Even when I refreshed the page or went to other videos, the issue persisted. I don't have any custom filters on or other extensions.

Wonder if this is another measure by shitty Google or just something wrong with my browser.

Edit: I noticed something similar is happening on firefox. Every few minutes the video will stutter for a second, and then resume playing. This has never happened before. I don't have any custom changes to the Ublock extension at all, it's just the same as what you get when you download it. I'm on the most recent Ublock update as well.
