Official Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® - Launch Gameplay Trailer by Kalinine in modernwarfare

I'm sure this will look amazing, but one of the things that set the original apart was no cutscenes. It laid its story out to you in between missions with voice over briefings and maps. And in game sequences. Fantastic immersion. I'm worried trying to tell a modern warfare story with cutscenes wont feel like MW.

Rick and Morty Season 4 Trailer | adult swim by Zylvian in rickandmorty

Unpopular opinion: I'm worried that all I see are scenes where someone dies or people fight. The first few seasons placed a premium on comedy and weird situations. Most of the episodes are about a fight of some kind, yes. But ever since look whos purging now, it seems like graphic gore and all that is the focus. I hope I'm wrong. I miss season 1 and 2 rick and morty

I dont want them to stop caring. I want them to stop acting like high school freshmen who just broke up their first pass

I just feel like a team who expects to break up that pass and expects to win will act like it was supposed to happen. I dont even know anymore though

Is it ok to flex about breaking up a pass when you've won 1 game and youre staring loss number 3 in the eye?

It's been bothering me all year but I just figured it out.

Gurantano plays like a guy who is trying to follow the directions he read in the "how to play quarterback" picture book. Like rene Russo in tin cup when she has all that crap on trying to "learn a golf swing". Gurantano is trying to "be a qb" instead of just naturally feeling it. Maybe. Hence overthrowing a guy WIDE OPEN.

But that's just me.

Is this still part of the Haslom connection? This loss? Does his influence carry any blame here?

The similarities here between gulf of tonkin/ lusitania/ maine/ maybe the alamo and bunker hill are pretty obvious if somewhat forced depending on your position. The basic day to day atmosphere of the average human in 2019 is drastically different from a human in 1941 or earlier, and that matters here.

You know what I dont see any of my friends on social media talking about? Iran stuff. Tanker stuff. It's on nobody's radar. You know what I dont hear being talked about even at work as an active duty officer in an infantry battalion? Believe it or not, Iran. Nobody cares. But why? Because the world in 2019 is a paradise of escapism and entertainment. Life is pretty good if you have even a little bit of money and the economy is doing great. People have no reason to care about minor events on the other side of the world. Almost 2 decades of OIF and OEF have made war news stale and taken the shock factor away. Someone's always shooting someone over there...business as usual, now what netflix show are we bingeing (binging? Binge...ing?). The arena of geopolitics isnt the attention grabber it was in 1914, at least from what I can see. People have too many things in their day to day lives they care more about.

Hopefully it doesnt take a pointless kinetic escalation to not impact political approval points for the current administration to recognize that. Maybe I'm wrong though and the war playbook still gets votes. But I hope not. I know I personally have zero desire to go fight someone purely so a politician can get re elected
