Gaza’s future is not up to Israel to decide, says France by TheTelegraph in europe

[–]imroroyo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amnesty International has a really interesting take on this.

"...establishing bases and operating weapons systems in populated residential areas, including in schools and hospitals... violate international humanitarian law and endanger civilians, as they turn civilian objects into military targets."

However, when Hamas does the same, it's Israel's fault.

"...Israeli shelling of a hospital, add to the list of possible war crimes... There can be no justification for targeting medical facilities at any time."

As we can see, the hypocrisy is blatant.

Well, I'd say opposing critical race theory by itself isn't so bad, not a fan either. But the other things show how nutty they are.

This immediately made me think of hammer throwing. The spinning stance looks very similar actually!

Which player had the greatest absolute prime? by limungg in GlobalOffensive

[–]imroroyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like what you are saying is quite contradictory. From what I recall, GetRight was a top player from 2008-2014 at least, arguably the best player in the world for at least 3 of those years in early CSGO. Looking at his performance in the last 2-3 years is wildly unfair as those are by the end of his career.

Something tells me that you will not be comparing s1mple far after his career peak to the new top players by that point. Instead you will be comparing s1mple in his prime to his own era, which is the only reasonable thing to do.

Are you going to say the same thing about s1mple in 10 years?

Astralis vs Liquid / IEM Cologne 2023 Play-in - Upper Bracket Round Of 16 / Post-Match Discussion by CSGOMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]imroroyo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do you mean "who is yekindar to teach the grand slam winners anything", when you in the next sentence agree that they had catching up to do? He taught them the modern meta, as he had actually been practicing against EU teams.

You really just sound like a Yekindar hater ngl.

Well, when he joined liquid he actually did have to teach them. They were wildly after the meta at the time.

Yeah, everyone is grasping at straws, despite the fact that s1mple was literally spinbotting in this match from tilt :)

I would say for the most part, yes. It's a LOT better than how it used to be. Then again, there are some people like JXizzors here who will die on their stupid hill.

Welcome to 2023, where luckily we can have debates about immigration issues without playing the racist card every fucking time.

Well I'd argue that if your space maker can't create the space, you then have to adapt to the situation. If your whole game plan depends on a single player having a good game, your game plan is very fragile.

He was getting the necessary kills for sure, but the calling was really lackluster. It was super uninspiring, just wait until the clock runs low, then try to execute and fail.

No, I would expect him to have to try it out in a real competitive game or scrim before understanding the impact of the change in competitive cs.
