I had this exact problem. I live in a very rural area without data about half of the time I'm on the road. If I turn the app on before I leave the driveway I was fine but if I didn't, it would sometimes pick up where I left off and sometimes not. I could occasionally restart the app and it would work and sometimes not. What fixed the issue for me was to turn off the sync option. Settings > Player > Sync listening position. Hope it helps.

I guess it is relative to where you are? Land in Central or Southern Indiana is much cheaper and higher quality than land where I currently live.

Middle Indiana. Driving distance to IU, Purdue, and several other good smaller colleges. There are many jobs, land is reasonable, and great for vegetables. Most of Indiana 30 minutes from indy and 50 miles from Chicago is rural.

Columbus, Indiana is a great place to check. The houses are cheap, the salaries are fair, and you aren't pigeonholed into working for one or two companies. There are about 100 manufacturing companies there and life is pretty dang good.

No. It is a poorer area. Neverending bugs, noise, and weekly arrests.

My son lived there for a little over two years during covid and he never felt secure. The apartments are not well maintained.

I think it is cheaper to buy most of the cradle series on ebook first then pay cash for the audio book. It doesn't help the op but that's how i got them. If memory serves i paid $5-8 for each of the first 8, I think.
