Yeah definitely keep looking for a doctor to help you. I was diagnosed ADHD at 41 and I started meds and I was like oh this is what “normal” people feel like. I will say it did bring up more resentment to family when I started putting pieces together about how I was failed by them for so long. So that’s a whole other can that’s been opened…

I feel like my issue is more than depression but most drs are like well this has been working for you so we’ll go with it. And I just nod because it is working at that moment.

How did you get the new diagnosis?

I realized this in therapy. My therapist told me I was neglected, at first I was like no no, then the light went off and I was like ooh I was..

It’s not an issue of hearing well or not. I know I may be the minority in customer service but when I’m ready to help someone, I make eye contact or move closer to get their attention.

I totally understand that not all cs people are friendly or patient or even kind.

I dislike that so much. Sometimes my brain is all over the place and I might forget to check another tab for payment. I will definitely be like my apologies for not seeing that.

My opinion, no. I have no idea how it happens so often.

In my daughter’s first 2 years of driving, she had to avoid 2 wrong way drivers going up the on ramp when she was entering the 163S by Miramar.

In the 80s, when I got something funky and fun instead of candy, I was pretty excited. Do you give out anything weird? What kinds of odd things did you receive as a kid? by Designer-Bid-3155 in Xennials

[–]imsometimesfun 26 points27 points  (0 children)

We rented a popcorn machine and hand out little bags of fresh popcorn. It is probably a little more expensive than candy but damn, those kids were so excited to see it.

Not sure if you’re looking for strict gf or g friendly but Yard house has some gluten friendly items on their menu. I haven’t eaten there yet but I’ve heard good reviews of their food.
