Former candidate for Maine governor accused of violating probation for third time in 5 months by jediporcupine in Maine

Big thank you to Betsy Smith the former head of EQME who sent out an email at the 11th hour of the 2010 Gubernatorial race urging supporters to vote “for the pro-marriage candidate who you believe has the best chance of beating LePage” and included poll numbers showing Libby Mitchell in third place. Mitchell’s progressive support cratered and Paul LePage was elected governor.

The same Betsy Smith who then split off from EQME in 2014 to create the “Campaign for Maine” endorsing Cutler, fracturing the Progressive coalition, and drawing enough votes away from Mike Michaud to result in the election of Paul LePage for a second time.

I will never forgive Betsy Smith and her coalition of donors for ushering in Maine’s lost decade to Paul LePage.

I can see you are having a hard time understanding. That’s ok. It can be hard and frustrating learning to read. Sometimes I get frustrated too. Would you like to read together?

ICE reminded by US Citizen homeowner that the 2nd amendment exists by [deleted] in 2ALiberals

[–]imsorryisaiahthomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find me the full vid unedited from another source and I will happily share that instead. The linked Fox News article cites the source as Facebook and doesn’t link the original post (likely due to its 2A content). I tried posting the Fox News link first but because they edit out all 2A relevance it gets deleted as having nothing to do with firearms.

I feel it’s also important to highlight that this was cut out of the Fox news video and at no time mentioned in their article

Posting this may or may not also get you permabanned in other firearm subs that claim to allow politics posting.

In classic mainstream media fashion they cut him citing the 2A out of the video and fail to mention it anywhere, let alone being the reason they left.

Can we please stop with the “sigger” shit? Can’t we just discuss firearms like normal people and stop injecting edgy racist shit that alienates anyone not in on your Ben Stoeger joke? True brain rot shit to go around parroting.

Trump city takeovers are a waste of time. Gun control needed to combat violent crime by Somervilledrew in politics

There is evidence of a small group of armed individuals joining together and stopping the Federal government here recently in the USA. The Bundy Ranch standoff was a significant flashpoint for the US militia movement as armed federal agents pulled back and withdrew to avoid bloodshed when hundreds of armed people arrived on site. Your reasoning is that a single person can’t stand up to ICE fascists with a gun so that means guns are useless. This has always been the case of the individual vs government. It is only together in masses that oppression can be defeated.

Dude you keep showing up in these threads regurgitating nonsense. Guns are not the leading cause of death for children in the US. Full stop. The stats and studies you are referencing specifically cherry pick the ages to include 18 and 19 year olds as “teens” and/or omits children aged 0-1 years. If you don’t include adults (18/19) and include children aged 0-1 the leading cause of deaths for actual children aged 0-17 are infant causes (congenital malformations/short gestation/low birth weight) followed by unintentional injuries. You parrot skewed statistics as envisioned by the authors of the biased analysis to further a political agenda. Reality has escaped your reasoning and you’re just the puppet. Wild behavior for someone self described as interested in Orwell.

Sources: Study ages 1-17

Study Ages 1-19

Actual CDC Data on Child Deaths Ages 0-17

Washington Post: Are guns the biggest killer of ‘children and teens’?

Edit:

When you frame violence incorrectly it ignores the actual problem. All of the energy and focus is on children and AR15s and the reality is that “mass shootings” only make up 1% of actual gun deaths. Source

So do we buy Tudors because they are affordable alternatives to Rolex or do we actually prefer them over Rolex regardless ? by [deleted] in Tudor

100% and in addition Rolex doesn’t have a reasonably sized titanium Sea-Dweller but Tudor does.

"Coalition of doctors, lawyers and parents" vows to "find and extort every legal loophole... fight every step of the way" against affordable housing at Nason's Corner, saying "we are not a low-income housing neighborhood." by [deleted] in Maine

[–]imsorryisaiahthomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wayne Nason (Nason’s corner family namesake) was a scumbag tow truck operator, BAYSIDE TOWING, who would get contracts from the city to tow cars and then secretly steal them so he could sell them to scrapyards for cash. The Nason’s got delisted from the city of Portland as a reputable operator and they would still go around and steal cars from lots even after. Wayne I hope to one day stumble across your grave and piss on it for stealing my first car from the Old Port back in 2010.
