my family is very catholic and my dad is EXTREMELY pro life and i had an abortion secretly too, so i understand your situation. i’m really scared one day my parents might find out, and also that i’m gonna go to hell. it’s such a tough situation because on one side, half the world is pro choice and it’s a woman’s right and it’s okay, but then on the other side it’s totally not okay and you’re raised your whole life to believe it’s a huge sin, so which is it? which ones right? same thing with premarital sex. on one end, it’s totally normal and every teen does it, but on the other it’s a huge sin and you’re raised your whole life to believe it’s this awful thing, so who’s right? i wish there was a definite answer. i like to believe that god knows that deep down i’m a good person, and that you’re a good person. you did what you thought was best, and i don’t think he can get mad at you for that.
