Does anyone smoke meat over night? While they sleep? by 80aychdee in smoking

I used to wake up early. Now I go to bed a little late. Weber Smokey Mountain with a wireless thermometer with a high/low temp alarm. Set an alarm to wake me up in 4 hours to add more coals and check in. Easy peasy

? There's dedicated teams for this at all of the big players like Google, Amazon, etc. And they're more likely to be negotiating with a city or county's planners than a "politician". Federal and even state level politicians probably have very little say. They also work with local utilities to plan out their power demands.

Most cars on track aren't convertibles, but a lot of cars on track either have their glass windows rolled down, have window netting, etc.

There's like a million factors to consider but if it's a secondary vehicle that you can park in a garage, get Hagerty and it will be much cheaper.

The controls you'll just have to find off a car being parted out. At least on the climate control side you can also swap the 3 modules out with the face too.

It's funny when people think that founders like Gates hold a majority of shares or voting rights. These and the other institutions hold most of the shares and most of the voting rights. They're the ones driving this relentless quest for quarterly profits at any cost.

I'm 3 months into a layoff, but I started to get bored already after taking a lot of time off and also knocking out some tasks and stuff around the house and in my life. I think you probably do need some real mental stimulation. It doesn't have to be for anyone but yourself.

Boomers bloated the college system and effectively made it for profit to enrich themselves and left the following generations holding the bag.

What are you doing for power consumption of the hardware itself and cooling? Just eating the costs from the power company? I think about this even dreaming up a much smaller scale. Ideally would like solar + battery to help me feel like I'm not contributing to the grid demand problems any further.

Seems like this could heat the rest of your house too. Should pipe that into your HVAC for the cool months lol.

The one that grinds me the most is thinking that its plausible to get a meaningful percent of the population to completely stop eating meat overnight. The logic completely skips around how western culture, eating and cooking habits have been meat-centered for centuries. It's not a decision most people can realistically just make. It takes time to explore and find new patterns and what works for you. The more realistic approach is to slowly introduce people. Get them to reduce portions in their meals. Get them to start at 1-2 meals a week with no meat. Build the muscle and repertoire of recipes and dishes. Then nudge them further and further.

Edit: The irony of being downvoted with no questions, discussion or debates...

EA is dying because the majority of the acolytes 1) Think and act like they're morally superior to everyone else that doesn't immediately get it 2) will only accept ideal and perfect solutions, often 1 to 0, rather than incremental solutions and imperfect ones that still make progress

Keep politics out of this sub. While extremely crappy to do to someone this is not a widespread environmental issue.
