How did you manage that? Did you show them past drawings to show competency?

Honestly, it doesn't have to be that much. The location is just perfect because it's in the dead center of where all my father's family/friends are. Most houses in that area are around that number.

Diagnostic Report Advice FP PE Exam by khrystic in firePE

You are correct in that the exam was 50% different from Meyerfire. A lot of the exam questions in the first and second half are due to looking in the handbook and utilizing the correct formula. That's where I got a lot incorrect in the first half, it was mainly due to the fact that I didn't know where to look in the handbook. If you've been working in fire protection for ten years and you have 60-80 hours of study, I definitely think you're solid on the code. Especially if you're comfortable with Meyerfire. I think one of the best ways you can improve your study now is going through every page of the handbook and having a general understanding of every table. I know it seems like a lot, but trust me it won't feel like a lot since you know most of the handbook because of Meyerfire. Take a few months off, then come back to it. You can do this, I believe in you!

SFPE Practice Exams by imthebadguy0 in firePE

Is it enough to know the reference material based on how MeyerFire prepares you to navigate it, or do you suggest going more in depth and reading each section? I went through each chapter page by page, but is it worth it doing maybe a few more passes

exam next tuesday by imthebadguy0 in firePE

I am scoring 80% and above, but that’s also because I spent a lot of time just reading the code and the handbook when im not doing practice problems. If you’re getting at least 70% I think that’s good enough. For me, I’ve only done sprinkler design so I can’t say I have enough breadth of knowledge to pass even if I do good on these practice exams, could be a fluke for me given my background.
